¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ¿Pueden creer que yo no he visto La Casa de Papel? 🤣, pues esa es mi verdad y la cuestión es que yo la empecé a ver cuando apenas acababa de salir la primera temporada, pero solo ví un par de capítulos y recuerdo que en efecto me enganchó muchísimo, pero después pasaron unos días y mi cerebro la olvidó, cuando salieron las siguientes temporadas me dió flojera retomarla y resultó que después me enteré de todo lo que pasaba porque mi hermana me lo contó 🤣, el punto de todo esto es que a pesar de que no he visto esa serie y por lo tanto no soy fan, hace unos días me dió curiosidad ver la serie de Berlín, y seré sincera me dió curiosidad porque allí aparece un actor que yo amo, pero en fin el día de hoy les estaré hablando de ésta serie y de las razones que me hagan pensar que quizás, el mundo de La Casa de Papel se este convirtiendo en la nueva Élite 🤷🏻♀️.
Hello Hello Community! Can you believe that I haven't seen Money Heist? 🤣, well that's my truth and the thing is that I started watching it when the first season had just come out, but I only saw a couple of chapters and I remember that I was really hooked, but then a few days passed and my brain forgot about it, when the next seasons came out I got lazy and then I found out everything that happened because my sister told me about it 🤣, the point of all this is that even though I haven't seen that series and therefore I'm not a fan, a few days ago I was curious to see the Berlin series, and I'll be honest I was curious because there appears an actor that I love, but anyway today I'll be talking about this series and the reasons that make me think that maybe the world of La Casa de Papel is becoming the new Elite 🤷🏻♀️.

Berlín es una historia spin off de la ya conocida serie La Casa de Papel, aquí nos centramos específicamente en el personaje de Berlín y mas concretemente en un robo (obviamente), uno en donde se pretenden llevar 44 millones de euros en joyas, un robo de una noche para el cual se reúne a todo un equipo y se plantea toda una planificación previa. Tenemos entonces una banda de 6 personas incluida Berlín, que viajan a París para llevar a cabo todo este plan de atraco. La serie fue lanzada los últimos días del mes de diciembre y por lo tanto es de los últimos estrenos del 2023 de la plataforma Netflix y hasta el momento tiene opiniones bastante diversas en cuanto a la receptividad, o al menos así han sido las opiniones que yo he visto en tik tok 🤣.
Berlin is a spin off story of the well known series La Casa de Papel, here we focus specifically on the character of Berlin and more specifically on a robbery (obviously), one in which they intend to take 44 million euros in jewellery, a one night robbery for which a whole team is gathered and a whole previous planning is planned. So we have a gang of 6 people, including Berlin, who travel to Paris to carry out this heist plan. The series was released in the last days of December and is therefore one of the last releases of 2023 on the Netflix platform and so far has quite mixed reviews in terms of receptivity, or at least so have been the opinions I've seen on tik tok 🤣.
SourceSeré completamente honesta desde el inicio, a mí ésta serie no me encantó del todo, obviamente me mantuvo enganchada capitulo tras capitulo pero cuando llegué al final me dí cuenta de que en esencia muchas de las escenas son un tanto ridículas y sin sentido, y que nuestro personaje principal pues la verdad es que no hace mas nada que perseguir a una chica de la que se enamoró en una noche 🤣, no me malentiendan yo amo el romance, y ésta serie tiene una pareja en concreto que me encantó que se formara, desde el minuto uno supe que algo pasaría entre ellos dos y me pareció fantástico, pero no con esto quiero decir que me entretuvo la persecución enfermiza que le montó Berlín a Camila solo porque él estaba absolutamente enamorado de ella. Ahora bien, como dije yo no he visto La Casa de Papel, así que no conocia muy bien la personalidad de nuestro protagonista, luego de que amablemente personas a mi alrededor me la explicaran (personas que sí vieron la serie), pude comprender un poco mejor las acciones que tomaba Berlín, o sea él es el personaje que sabotea los planes por su romanticismo enfermizo, de hecho toda la serie es narrada desde el romanticismo lo cual es algo que sí aplaudo porque eso hace concordancia con el personaje clave, por algo lleva su nombre la serie ¿No?, no se puede esperar una narrativa diferente cuando el protagonista es de personalidad ilusoria, así que por allí tenemos un buen manejo.
I'll be completely honest from the beginning, I didn't love this series at all, obviously it kept me hooked chapter after chapter but when I got to the end I realized that in essence many of the scenes are somewhat ridiculous and pointless, and that our main character does nothing more than chasing a girl he fell in love with in one night 🤣, don't get me wrong I love romance, and this series has a couple in particular that I loved that they formed, from minute one I knew something would happen between the two of them and I thought it was fantastic, but I don't mean to say that I was entertained by the sick chase that Berlin mounted on Camila just because he was absolutely in love with her. Now, as I said I haven't seen La Casa de Papel, so I didn't know very well the personality of our protagonist, after people around me kindly explained it to me (people who did see the series), I could understand a little better the actions taken by Berlin, that is, he is the character who sabotages the plans because of his sick romanticism, in fact the whole series is narrated from romanticism which is something that I applaud because that is consistent with the key character, the series is named after him for a reason, isn't it? you can't expect a different narrative when the main character has an illusory personality, so that's a good way to handle it.
SourceAún así, no se crean que ésta fue mi primera conclusión de la narrativa de la serie 🤣 me tocó reflexionar un día completo para no llegar aquí diciendo que la historia no me había gustado, pero incluso tomando éste análisis siento que objetivamente la serie podía darnos más, sí yo entiendo que las historias de acción y de éste estilo tienen ya una fórmula que funciona y mantiene al público allí entretenido con el contenido, y si tenemos algo que funciona para qué cambiarlo, pero si creo que dentro de éste esquema se puede innovar un poco, o al menos no repetir tantas veces la misma secuencia como siento está ocurriendo con éstas series (las temporadas de La Casa de Papel y éste spin off), yo solo digo que poner tres escenas de “entrada epica” con “musica de suspenso épica” en un mismo capítulo durante todos los capítulos, llega un momento en que cansa bastante 🤷🏻♀️, y no crean que estoy exagerando, al menos en los primeros capítulos es literalmente así. Justamente por motivos como éste es que siento que éste universo de historias se está convirtiendo un poco en la nueva Élite, a veces cuando algo funciona y es exitoso lo mejor es dejarlo hasta ahí y no querer seguir sacándole el jugo.
Even so, do not believe that this was my first conclusion of the narrative of the series 🤣 I had to reflect a whole day to not get here saying that I did not like the story, but even taking this analysis I feel that objectively the series could give us more, yes I understand that the action stories and this style already have a formula that works and keeps the audience there entertained with the content, and if we have something that works why change it, but I do think that within this scheme can innovate a little, or at least not repeat so many times the same sequence as I feel is happening with these series (the seasons of Money Heist and this spin off), I just say that putting three scenes of "epic entrance" with "epic suspense music" in the same chapter during all chapters, there comes a time when it tires a lot 🤷🏻♀️, and do not think I'm exaggerating, at least in the first chapters is literally like that. It's precisely for reasons like this that I feel that this universe of stories is becoming a bit like the new Elite, sometimes when something works and is successful it's best to leave it there and not want to keep taking more out of it.
SourceQuiero centrarme en dos elementos en ésta reseña, la primera obviamente debe ser el robo y consecutivamente su escape, a fin de cuentas es la base de toda ésta historia, entonces genuinamente debo admitir que toda la parte del atraco me gustó bastante, la planificación y cada detalle que contemplaron para su realización siento que fue una trama que se supo llevar, me gustó que todo el robo ocurrió en una sola noche, o sea fue literalmente entrar y salir con todo por lo que ibas, y creo que ahí se marcó una diferencia con respecto a la historia principal pues porque allí los atracos duraban más días, obviamente hubo detalles super descabellados que fácilmente tú podrías decir “en la vida real eso no pasaría” pero no estamos en la vida real ¿Okey? 🤣, por nombrar uno se pude decir la soldadura que le hicieron a la cámara acorazada, o sea entiendo el material del que está hecho y que por ahí se puede justificar que no se haya escuchado nada del trabajo con maquinaría que ellos estaban haciendo 🤣🤣, pero creo yo que al menos un ruidito debe pasar y escucharse del otro lado 🤣, no sé esa parte no me la creí demasiado pero me hice la loca 🤣.
I want to focus on two elements in this review, the first one obviously has to be the robbery and consequently its escape, at the end of the day it's the base of all this story, then genuinely I must admit that the whole part of the robbery I liked a lot, the planning and every detail that they contemplated for its realization I feel that it was a plot that they knew how to carry, I liked that the whole robbery happened in one night, I mean it was literally in and out with everything you were going for, and I think that was a difference from the main story because there the robberies lasted more days, obviously there were super crazy details that you could easily say "in real life that wouldn't happen" but we are not in real life ok? 🤣, to name one I could say the welding they did to the vault, I mean I understand the material it's made of and that's why you can justify that you can't hear anything of the machine work they were doing 🤣🤣, but I think that at least a little noise should happen and be heard on the other side 🤣, I don't know that part I didn't really believe it but I played crazy 🤣.
SourceAhora bien, que el robo me haya gustado no quiere decir que el escape también lo haya hecho, porque la verdad es que sí lo sentí algo rebuscado, por no decir muy rebuscado, el plan inicial de escape estaba bien estructurado y hasta lógica tenía, hay un diálogo en específico donde se dice que quien buscaría joyas robadas de tantos millones de euros en el bolso de unos mochileros, y es totalmente cierto o sea si se piensa detenidamente tiene algo de lógica 🤣, pero aunque este plan inicial estaba bien realizado todos sabemos que el plan A casi nunca se cumple, y debo decir que el plan B en muchos aspectos estuvo malísimo, sobre todo en la huida de Berlín y Damián que de hecho fue la mas improvisada de todas, pero es en serio que dos personas de cierta edad con una clara contextura de cero actividad física ¿Van a huir de un país y cruzar la “frontera” montañosa en bicicleta? 🤦🏻♀️, como si fuesen maratonistas, de verdad que ahí si lanzaron todo el guión a la papelera al menos para mí, fue absolutamente rebuscado.
Now, just because I liked the robbery doesn't mean that I liked the escape, because the truth is that I did feel it was a bit stilted, not to say very stilted, the initial escape plan was well structured and even logical, there is a specific dialogue where it is said that who would look for stolen jewels of so many millions of euros in the bag of some backpackers, and it is totally true, so if you think carefully it has some logic 🤣, but although this initial plan was well done we all know that plan A is almost never fulfilled, and I must say that plan B in many aspects was very bad, especially in the escape of Berlin and Damian, which in fact was the most improvised of all, but is it really that two people of a certain age with a clear zero physical activity are going to flee from a country and cross the mountainous "border" on a bicycle? 🤦🏻♀️, as if they were marathon runners, they really threw the whole script in the bin, at least for me, it was absolutely far-fetched.
SourceEl segundo elemento a destacar no podía ser otro que los personajes, siento que está serie tiene dos muy buenos personajes y el resto que no son tan malos pero tampoco los mejores. Irónicamente ninguno de esos dos personajes que destacaron para mí es Berlín 🤣, de hecho él fue el que menos me gustó de todos y por eso ni siquiera hablaré de su papel (aunque el actor un 10/10), pero realmente los que destacaron para mí fueron el profesor Damián y Keila, a quienes yo considero las dos mentes brillantes de la banda y quiénes a mi parecer cargaron con el peso de todo el atraco. Primero hablemos de Damián, para mí el era un poco ésta versión menos meticulosa y obsesiva del personaje de El Profesor, obviamente para nada igual pero sí cumplía un poco ese rol de planificador y estratega, es quien más corazón le pone al atraco en el sentido que es de los que mas hace en pro del robo, actúa un poco de papá de todos incluso de Berlín, y al menos a mí me pareció de los mas interesantes porque sí me llegué a preguntar¿Qué mueve a un profesor universitario (creo) a implicarse tan de lleno con un atraco?, es bastante interesante esa postura y eso lo hizo muy destacable para mí.
The second element to highlight could not be other than the characters, I feel that this series has two very good characters and the rest that are not so bad but not the best either. Ironically none of those two characters that stood out for me is Berlin 🤣, in fact he was the one I liked the least of all and that's why I won't even talk about his role (although the actor is a 10/10), but the ones that really stood out for me were Professor Damien and Keila, who I consider the two brilliant minds of the gang and who in my opinion carried the weight of the whole heist. First let's talk about Damian, for me he was a bit less meticulous and obsessive version of the character of The Professor, obviously not at all the same but he did fulfil the role of planner and strategist, he is the one who puts more heart into the heist in the sense that he is the one who does the most for the robbery, he acts a bit like everyone's dad even Berlin's, and at least I found him one of the most interesting because I did ask myself: What moves a university professor (I think) to get so fully involved in a robbery? it's quite interesting that position and that made it very remarkable for me.
SourceY finalmente tenemos a Keila, una ingeniera en electrónica o mejor dicho la cerebrito de la banda, graduada cumlaude y cuya timidez llega a tal punto que limita su vida casi por completo a la realidad virtual, honestamente siento que al igual que Damián es la mas comprometida con el robo y de las que mas cosas hace para que todo salga a la perfección, obviamente ella se encarga de todo lo tecnológico y eso la hace una pieza clave en el atraco, pero además es un personaje con mucho sentido de pertenencia por la banda, preocupada por todos y siempre con la disposición de actuar en beneficio de todos, ella al igual que Damián se me hace un personaje interesante porque conocemos muy poco de ella y aparte me hace plantearme la misma pregunta, solo que en éste caso de una forme un tanto diferente, ¿Cómo logro Berlín acercarse a ella y qué tan inestable psicológicamente estaba para lograr involicrarla en el atraco? 🤔, y de verdad que la serie le da mucho peso a la historia de otros personajes, pero la historia realmente interesante de conocer es la de ella, literalmente no se dice nada de su vida, empezamos y terminamos teniendo la misma información de Keila y siento que puede ser un personaje para explotar en el futuro, aparte que buena parte del atraco dependía enteramente de ella (y su romance fue el que me gustó 🤭, lo siento pero el romance siempre viene a mí).
And finally we have Keila, an electronics engineer or rather the mastermind of the gang, cumlaude graduate and whose shyness reaches such a point that limits her life almost entirely to virtual reality, I honestly feel that like Damian is the most committed to the robbery and the most things she does to make everything go perfectly, obviously she is in charge of everything technological and that makes her a key piece in the robbery, But she is also a character with a great sense of belonging to the gang, concerned about everyone and always willing to act for the benefit of all, she, like Damien, is an interesting character because we know very little about her and also makes me ask myself the same question, only in this case in a slightly different way, how Berlin managed to get close to her and how psychologically unstable she was to get her involved in the robbery? 🤔, and really the series gives a lot of weight to the story of other characters, but the really interesting story to know is hers, literally nothing is said about her life, we start and end up having the same information about Keila and I feel that she can be a character to exploit in the future, besides that much of the heist depended entirely on her (and her romance was the one I liked 🤭, sorry but the romance always comes to me).

me encantó tu opinión, lo redactas tan natural XD yo sólo vi un capítulo de esta serie (la primera de todas, no la de Berlin) y no me atrapó, sin embargo dices que te viste los dos primeros y te enganchó, y ya que mucha gente me la ha recomendado, creo que este año si le daré una oportunidad, al menos a la primera de todas.
Sin embargo no me atrapo lo suficiente para ver los siguientes capítulos 🤣, aunque realmente fue porque las series con muchas temporadas me abruman 🤣, pero nunca está de sobra darle la oportunidad a nuevo material 😌.
