Nadie sabe que estoy aqui/Nobody knows I'm here (Reseña/Review)

Memo Garrido es un hombre tímido y poco hablador que evita a las personas, viviendo en una isla con su tío, trabajando con él cortando la lana de las ovejas, en su tiempo libre entra a casas que están solas, por diversión. Memo guarda un secreto, alguna vez canto en su infancia, siendo alguien grande en las sombras, pero varios eventos evitaron que su reconocimiento fuese más grande y mejor, ese secreto será revelado cuando una curiosa mujer entra en la vida de Memo.

Memo Garrido is a shy and not very talkative man who avoids people, living on an island with his uncle, working with him cutting sheep's wool, in his spare time he goes to houses that are alone, for fun. Memo keeps a secret, he once sang in his childhood, being someone great in the shadows, but several events prevented the recognition of him from being bigger and better, that secret will be revealed when a curious woman enters Memo's life.

Ya hace un año que me vi esta película, buscando que ver con mi pareja la vi de nuevo y como ella no la había visto, decidimos verla, porque me parece una película muy bonita, vi mis anteriores post y me di cuenta que no había hablado de ella así que este es el momento adecuado para hacerlo.

Nadie sabe que estoy aquí es una película chilena, con una historia colorida y un personaje principal carismático que, aunque no hable demasiado, se puede conseguir empatía por el personaje. La historia cuenta como Memo, un niño con una gran voz no pudo brillar completamente porque la disquera decía que el rostro del artista debería ser más atractivo, siendo él la voz y alguien más el rostro, causando problemas de autoestima y demás en el personaje.

Mientras la película va transcurriendo podemos ver como interactúa el personaje principal con la vida, el poco hablar, el esconderse, el querer brillar aun después de tantos años pero sin el atrevimiento que nadie lo vea por miedo. Es una persona frágil, sentimental, de buen corazón, creo que es lo que más me gusto de la película, en varias ocasiones me dieron ganas de abrazar al protagonista.

Luego de buscar un poco acerca de la película vi que el protagonista también apareció en la serie Lost, el cambio que ha tenido es algo significante por lo que no me había percatado, gano un premio por esta película como actor protagónico. Lo único que pudo ser difícil para mi en algunos momentos fue la voz de los actores, por ser chilena hablan muy rápido y me llegaba a perder en la conversación, tuve que colocar subtítulos, son como los españoles que susurran al hablar.

La canción principal de la película se me quedo estancada en la cabeza por mucho tiempo, mientras estoy escribiendo esto aun la puedo recordar, puede ser algo lenta pero realmente pega donde debe hacerlo. Con un personaje principal atractivo, una canción emblemática, colores vividos y una historia conmovedora, definitivamente recomiendo esta película.

It's been a year since I saw this movie, looking for what to do with my partner, I saw it again and since she hadn't seen it, we decided to watch it, because it seems like a very nice movie, I saw my previous posts and realized that there was no talked about it so this is the right time to do it.

Nobody knows I'm here is a Chilean film, with a colorful story and a charismatic main character that, even if he doesn't talk too much, you can get empathy for the character. The story tells how Memo, a boy with a great voice could not fully shine because the label said that the artist's face should be more attractive, he being the voice and someone else the face, causing self-esteem problems and others in the character.

As the film unfolds we can see how the main character interacts with life, the little talking, the hiding, the wanting to shine even after so many years but without the daring that no one sees him out of fear. He is a fragile, sentimental person, with a good heart, I think that is what I liked the most about the film, on several occasions it made me want to hug the protagonist.

After looking a bit about the film I saw that the protagonist also appeared in the series Lost, the change that he has had is something significant from what I had not realized, he won an award for this film as a leading actor. The only thing that could be difficult for me in some moments was the voice of the actors, being Chilean they speak very fast and I got lost in the conversation, I had to put subtitles, they are like Spaniards who whisper when speaking.

The main song of the film stayed stuck in my head for a long time, while I'm writing this I can still remember it, it may be a bit slow but it really hits where it should. With an engaging lead character, iconic song, vivid colors, and heartwarming story, I definitely recommend this movie.
