Today I am going to talk about an episode of The Big Bang Theory, which tells us about this.

Hoy les voy a hablar precisamente de un episodio de The Big Bang Theory, que nos cuenta esto.
The series that follows a group of scientists working at CalTech University in California, had an episode in season 5, where we met Emily. In this episode, Penny introduces Raj to her friend Emily, who is deaf and believes that by doing so she can help her friend talk to women. As the episode progresses Howard takes over as the interpreter when the two meet.

Meanwhile, the craziness doesn't seem to stop, and misunderstandings, lead Penny to confront Emily, who she believes is taking advantage of her friend, and doesn't want to hurt him. I remember watching this episode, and I loved the way they involved Emily being deaf, because then Raj doesn't have to worry about talking, which he usually dreads: talking to women. It was a very funny attempt to take Raj out of his comfort zone, and to add a new problem to the group: how are they going to communicate? A problem that was briefly solved thanks to Howard, who had learned sign language.
