Iniciamos suave, con un programa televisivo en donde el presentador le dice a tres hombres que pasen al "escenario", la cuestión es adivinar cual es de ellos Frank, un famoso estafador escapista que fingió ser un piloto y viaje más de 4 millones de kilómetros, depositó millones en cheques falsos en muchos países incluyendo todos los estados de USA, incluyendo muchísimos más puestos y todo esto antes de tener 19 años, increíble. Estos tres hombres se presentan todos como si fueran Frank y se sientan para poder hacerles preguntas, una mujer le hace una pregunta al número el cual responde vagamente, suena muy simple su respuesta y el segundo responde quien atrapó a Frank, sucesivamente al responder vamos directo al hecho, de cuando Carl, su captor llega a un país de la unión europea donde no se entiende con los guardias porque, aja, la barrera de idiomas, después de mucho palabreo lo llevan al calabozo donde encuentra Frank en una celda impenetrable desde cualquier sitio solo con un rejilla, Carl le dice que está ahí para leer sus leyes de extradición y llevárselo pero Frank solo súplica que lo ayuda, está muy mal, tiene un resfriado enorme y se desploma, abren como sea la puerta y lo llevan a una enfermería; los policías están un poco reacios y al dejar a Frank en la camilla para lavarse las manos Carl pelea con todos ellos pero es muy tarde, solo se escucha la puerta por la cual Frank ha salido.

Aunque no por mucho porque una enfermedad lo tiene acabado de verdad, no lo deja correr lo suficientemente rápido y menos pensar así que se desploma y es alcanzado por los oficiales que se lo llevan de una vez para ser extraditado.

5 años antes podemos ver el núcleo familiar de Frank, su padre en un auditorio donde es reconocido por muchos más hombres y su madre junto a él, todos se emocionan, ya en casa bailan y celebran el gran triunfó y Frank puede verá sus padres divertirse; al siguiente día Frank es levantado muy temprano para buscar un traje, su padre le tiene un quehacer importante, después de buscarlo y revolotear bastante y ver muy claramente las habilidades persuasivas del padre de Frank lo consiguen y van al banco para poder conseguir un préstamo pero se lo niegan por no conocerlo, aunque pone muchos peros de porque deberían dárselo no lo logra y termina pagando una deuda dando su auto y se mudan, vendiendo la casa también para pagar la deuda. Se mudan lejos y tienen problemas maritales los padres de Frank pero eso no importa ahora ya que Frank debe ir a la escuela donde lleva su traje pero acá no usan traje sino ropa normal y lo tratan de raro evidentemente pero ya dentro del salón, en broma le dicen que parece un profesor sustituto y el se lo toma muy a pecho que lo finge ser y humilla a los bravucones de antes.

Al poco tiempo es reprendido por aparentar ser un profesor y hacer devolver a la profesora que si tocaba en esa hora, los padres de Frank no pueden creerlo y están decepcionados o eso aparenta su padre pero en el fondo está orgulloso que Frank está adoptando bien habilidades de engaño para poder usarlas a su favor.

De aquí hasta mucho más adelante veremos muchas hazañas que nos sorprenderán, aventuras de Frank dentro de todo el mundo con ingeniosos escapes.

They move far away and Frank's parents have marital problems but that doesn't matter now since Frank must go to school where he wears his suit but here they don't wear suits but normal clothes and they treat him as weird obviously but already inside the classroom, jokingly they tell him that he looks like a substitute teacher and he takes it to heart that he pretends to be and humiliates the bullies from before.
