Almost Two Years, Finally They Reopened Cinemas In My City. My First Time Experience Watch Movie In Cinema Since Pandemic Happened.

Hello my dear friends.
In this blog, i will share about the exciting activity that i do today. I finally able to watch movies in cinema again, yey. After being closed for almost two years since the pandemic happened, they just re opened cinemas again in my city in the past two weeks. There are new rules apply that we should follow though and i will share in this post all about it. I dont know about cinemas in another country, do they open already? I am someone that really love to watch movies in cinema. I usually will watch movies in cinema at least once a week, sometime even more than that. I love to go both alone and with my friends. Going to cinema is really fun.

My sister dm-ed me few days ago and she asked me to go watch a movie with her. It seems like that my sister is the type of person that uncomfortable to watch movies in cinema by themselves. Since i really want to go to cinema but doesnt get the chance yet. She initially want to go in Sunday. But in sunday, i met with my friend and stay with her for a whole day. So we changed the meeting to the next day, which is today, monday. We choose to watch in CGV that located in The Focal Point Mall. We decided to watch in there because my sister have a morning gym session in that mall.

Before we can enter the cinema, we should enter from the side that they already put, and we should scan this barcode. Its to verify that we already do two doses ic vaccines. They only accept customers that already do two full doses of vaccine. I saw some people get sent back after they try to enter because one of them doesnt have his vaccination yet. Its quite sad but i am glad that they’re strict because its safer for people that already do the full vaccine. We, the people that already get vaccinated have the right to be protected by public space. This is what it looks like after i scan the barcode right in front of the cinema.

I have never seen cinema to be as empty as this. Its so sad and pitiful. There’s not many people watching movies. But that might also because its quite early in the daytime and its in monday too. Maybe in the weekend, there is more people. Once again, i am happy and glad that the place is basically empty when i was in there. Its just makes me feel more safe if i dont get to be in the same room with many people at the same time. We choose to have the movies in the first airing time too so that we will be the first people to entering the cinema in that room that day.

Before we watch, we should check our body temperature first.

We should wear the mask even if we were inside the room and watching the movies.

Wash our hand with soap and water.

Or we can choose to use gel sanitizer.

If you’re coughing, cover your mouth with the back side of your arm sleeve.

Keep the safe distance.

Throw the trash in the trash bin.

Me and my sister choose to watch Sangchi The Legend Of Ten Rings. Its a good movie and i will make my review separately since i want to focus on the cinema experience in this post. The price of one ticket is 35.000 idr for one people.

It feels so strange to finally able to sit and watch a movie in cinema again, but i am so so so happy. I dont know how to explain it. To finally able to watch movie in the big screen again. Its only 5 people inside the room so it feels even colder. Not only that we have to always wear mask when we watch the movie, the sitting is having a change too. We sit with one seat empty between the sitting area. So, the full capacity of the cinema is right 50% now.
