Hello, Hive community! Today I bring you a special blog for all those people who like the series of the 90s and everything related to them. In this post I will talk more about what is related to the clothes, so I hope with this I can take you to that time!.
It all started one day when I was seeing on the internet that people were dressing up as their favorite characters and I thought; Why not dress like the characters from my favorite series ?; So I started looking for photos and I went to my parents' closets for clothes (you will not know the treasures that I found there).
For those who dont know, Friends is an American television sitcom from the 90s that tells about the life of 6 friends from New York City; It has a total of 10 seasons and is known as one of the most popular television shows of all time. If you haven't seen it yet, run to a TV, make yourself some popcorn and watch it, I highly recommend it!.
Next I will show you me trying to recreate the clothes of 3 of the protagonists (in this case the girls), soon I will be uploading that of the boys, so without anything else to say, let's get started.
hola ¡linda comunidad de Hive!, hoy les traigo un blog especial para todas esas personas que le gustan las series de los 90 y todo lo relacionado a ellas. En este post hablaremos principalmente de la ropa, así que espero con esto, poder llevarte a esa época!.
Todo empezó un día en que estaba viendo por las redes que varias personas se estaban vistiendo de personajes de series y pensé, ¿Por qué no vestirme como los personajes de mi serie favorita?; así que comencé a buscar fotos y me metí a buscar ropa en los closets de mis papás (no sabrán las joyitas que encontré ahí).
Para las personas que no sepan Friends es una serie estadounidense de los años 90 que relata la vida de 6 amigos de la ciudad de new york; tiene un total de 10 temporadas y es conocida como uno de los programas de televisión más populares de todos los tiempos.
¡y vaya que lo es!, si todavía no la has visto ¡corre a una tv, hazte unas palomitas y ponte a verla, que te la recomiendo un montón!.
A continuación te mostraré un intento de recrear la vestimenta de 3 de los protagonistas (en este caso las chicas), pronto estaré subiendo el de los chicos, así que sin mas nada que decir, empecemos.
REACHEL GREEN
Reachel about the wardrobe would be my favorite character, she has a business style that makes her look very chic but also can have a casual style that looks comfortable and glamorous at the same time.
The first look is from the first seasons, that is why it looks eighty since the series begins at the end of that time. As the series progresses and the character becomes more mature, the looks become businesslike and serious.
Reachel respecto al vestuario sería mi personaje favorito, tiene un estilo empresarial que hace que se vea muy chic pero también puede tener un estilo casual que se vea cómodo y glamuroso al mismo tiempo. El look n°1 es de las primeras temporadas, es por eso que luce ochentoso ya que la serie empieza en el final de esa época. A medida que avanza la serie y el personaje madura, los look se muestran empresariales y serios.
MONICA GELLER
Monica is characterized by wearing dark tones and almost always wearing a men's shirt and Mom jeans. I really like her style because without having to look for clothes as flashy and glamorous as Reachel, but using basic things Monica manages to put semi formal streetwear outfits that makes her look very good.
I would definitely wear the clothes that she wears, in fact we can currently see that Mom jeans are back in fashion.
Monica se caracteriza por usar tonos sombríos y casi siempre llevar una camisa de hombre y unos Mom jeans. Me gusta mucho su estilo porque sin tener que buscar prendas tan llamativas y glamurosas como Reachel, sino usando un estilo más básico, logra armar outfits semi formal, semi callejero que hace que se vea muy bien. Definitivamente usaría la ropa que Monica utiliza, de hecho, podemos ver que varias prendas como los Mom jeans han vuelto a estar de moda.
PHOEBE BUFFAY
We can say that Phoebe has a unique style; We could go to New York city and meet someone who dresses like that and not doubt that that person is Phoebe Buffay. She loves to wear bright colors and is not afraid to combine patterns that don't really match. From my point of view, Phoebe's style represents a lot of her crazy way of being and I would love to dress like that!. Although the outfits I chose are the least crazy since finding things like that was very difficult, I wanted to try more of the style of that beloved character :(
In the last photo I took the liberty of not recreating any outfit, but with my own clothes (this time not from my parents) to try to wear something that was like Phoebe, for that I used, my most hippie pants that are wide in color green and a top of flowers.
En la ultima foto me tomé la libertad de no recrear ningún outfit, sino de con mi propia ropa (esta vez no de mis papás) tratar de usar algo que fuera como Phoebe, para eso utilicé, mis pantalones más hippies que son anchos de un verde chichón y un top de flores.
Hahahaha bravo! Buen trabajo con esos outfits! Friends fue de mis series preferidas de toda la vida, y siempre me gusta leer a otros fans de la serie. Has visto el episodio especial de reencuentro, hace unas semanas salió y hay una parte donde hace algo parecido a lo que tú compartes en el post. Te recomeindo verlo, a todos los fans de la serie les va a gustar.
Si, vi el especial y me encantó!.Desde que estaba pequeña mi papá veía la serie y terminó gustándome mucho.
De hecho retomé lo de los outfits después de ver el reencuentro 😁
