HI! Erin here, to talk you about this little pseudo-indie movie I watched the other day!
This movie's plot is slightly based on the Scott Cawton's videogame Five Nights at Freddie's (FNaF).
It presents us Nicholas Cage's character, a tough looking man of few words (or none, really, he doesnt speaks) and no name, that we'll know as the Janitor, after he accepts to work cleaning this old abandoned animatronic restaurant at night in exchange of having his car repaired. After its tyres got damaged in weird circumstances. Soon he'll realize he is trapped in the place with animatronics that are alive and after his life.
Now, how is the movie?
It's bad. REALLY BAD.
It's directed weirdly, with bad fighting coreographies, cheesy as heck, and has the typical horror movies tropes with your typical secundary characters that are too stupid to survive.
If not for Cage, this would look really amateur and indie, and it kinda is. The actor has gotten in a lot of indie movies of all kinds lately
So I should'nt watch it?
OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!!
Yeah, this movie it's bad. but it's fun too.
If you see it with friends and zero expectatives this it's a very entertaining movie.
Just dont expect a movie of quality or with a deep plot.
