Summary

In a world where women are the only ones able to gain the power of the Peaches, every girl gains a unique ability based on the Peach they eat. Our lead character, Yuuki, ended up in the demon world of Mato by mistake. While being rescued, he agrees to subject himself to the power of Kyouka. By becoming her slave, he gains immense power in battle. However, as a cost to Kyouka, she must reward whoever is subject to her power. With this, they fight against not only the Shuuki of Mato but also a strange new Humanoid Shuuki.

The Perversion of this show is hilarious.

Okay, this is going to break this show for a lot of people, but it is among the horniest shows I have ever seen. And it is hilarious for it. We aren't talking about the strangely clever jokes of Interspecies Reviewers, this is just over-the-top insanity. See, neither Yuuki nor Kyouka gets to pick the reward, it's something picked from his subconscious.

While sex hasn't happened yet, we have had peep shows, cock and ball torture, and many other masochistic tenancies, the list goes on. All of this, while being treated as an absurd joke, is still presented in a way that is supposed to be titillating. If either you can enjoy the over-the-top lewd humor for what it is, or if this is just your kind of kink, you'll get a huge kick out of this portion of the show. It's legitimately funny.

A very strong and likable cast.

The main cast so far has revolved around the members of the Seventh Squad, and they are all great. In very short order the show is quickly able to build reasons Yuuki and the others would start to form a bond, something I think many harem anime overlook. It's really easy to see why he is willing to go out of his way for all the others in the squad, despite knowing them for such a short time.

That said, on their own, the cast is pretty great. You get a sense of each of their struggles and why it is they chose a life fighting the Shuuki. Very little of the show takes place in the normal world, and while the headquarters in Mato has plenty of amenities to make them feel at ease, you never feel like you are out of the danger of Mato. It's one of those touches that makes it easy to feel for these girls and what it means for them to choose this life.

Solid fights.

These may not be the best fights I've seen, but they are all really good. The show does a great job messing around with all the different powers granted by the Mato peaches. Yes, some of them are pretty simple and straightforward forward like Paradigm Shift just making Shushu larger or smaller, but even that is used to good effect.

It's also great to see the environment of Mato constantly being destroyed in the fights. Fights are all fast and high-impact. The show also knows not to linger too long on them. Only for the finale do you have a fight scene that goes on for a substantial period. It honestly helps that the last fight feels as impactful as a season finale should be.

Overall

This is just a solid show from beginning to end. I can't think of anything I can say it does better than other anime I've seen, but everything it wants to do it does very well. It's not a show I have much to criticize, at least not in the first season. I even like how it manages to resolve a pretty important plot point, making the season feel fulfilling while setting up the larger story the show is trying to tell. So long as you aren't looking for something too deep, and don't mind the excessively horny nature of the show, definitely give it a watch.
