I was intrigued by the film when it came out but after watching it I felt kind of disappointing. I didn't enjoy it as much as I was expecting. But this was a very original and even bizarre production, that's for sure.

That's why I wrote that you either like it or hate it, but it's hard to pass by indifferently. Rather, the film here is 90% of the atmosphere from the pages of HP Lovecraft. 10% are quirks that can just repel, such as the mermaid or the basement scene. Thanks for comment. It is known that you could have made this movie better when it comes to the script of many scenes change many scenes to give others. However, as I said, the only thing that defends this film strongly is the atmosphere and the black and white format. Because in the plot, if the whole atmosphere was not that good, there would be fewer references and probably many people would even forget about it, but the climate and this lantern that howls all the time is like a psychosis evil builds up with every second to explode in the finale
