Don't explode or nothing, but this awesome animated movie is a real classic. Although it came out way back in 1983, it's still my favorite anime overall.
behold Raoh. he's the older brother of Kenshiro, the main character.. but imo Raoh is by far the most strong and powerful brother.
Let me briefly sum it up.. it takes place post nuclear war and might makes right as the strong survive. There are 2 main schools of martial arts.. the north style which punches and kicks as well as hitting pressure points, the areas hit explode or cause some other incredible thing. The opposing martial art is the south style in which they cut and slice like a hot knife through butter.
This is Ken just chillin' with his gf..
Ken is the fist of the north, which means he was chosen to learn all the secrets of the north style and he is supposedly the best representative of the martial art.
Along comes Shin, who is his friend and fist of the south style.
Shin wants Julia for his own and a fight commences between the two fists..
Ken lands and it's apparent that Shin is just stronger and Ken collapses into a bloody heap.
Shin convinces Julia to go with him by plunging his fingers into Ken's chest and stomach until she relents.
With Ken gone (not really,.. it's just a flesh wound) Roah proclaims he is the new fist, since he IS the strongest!
and here's Ken (the new and improved version) as he 'fights' Zender, the boss of a gang of the wasteland. All it takes is some punches..
and this is another character, Rei, who Ken befriends and can you guess which style he uses?
Ok, nuff giving away all the cool scenes.. if you have never seen this movie and prefer the badass, realistic (and pretty graphic) anime style. then have a watch.. here is the movie for free on youtube..
I played the Nintendo game. I should probably see the entire movie some day.
Yes, it's awesome! πͺππ
Dang!
I knew it.
My time was always limited and it seemed slow to start. (Free Nintendo display at Warehouse music.)
Maybe Iβll revisit some day, some day, some dayβ¦ I say a lot. π₯Έ
