  Hello my movie and TV Show lover friend? I hope you are feeling great, this weekend I was able to see Bullet Train, the new movie from director David Leitch, the same director who directed Deadpool 2, and worked on the action sequences of John Wick (among many other works) and I am a declared fan of Leitch. In addition, the film stars Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King and several other actors, and boy do I love movies with a large cast. My expectations were high and I was very excited to see it. Now I feel the need to share my experience in this community for those who haven't seen it yet.

Espero te encuentres muy bien, este fin de semana pude ver Bullet Train, la nueva película del director David Leitch, el mismo que dirigió Deadpool 2, y trabajó en las secuencias de acción de John Wick (entre otros muchos trabajos) y es que soy fan declarado de Leitch. Además, la película está protagonizada por Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King y varios actores más, y valla que si me gusta las películas con un reparto extenso. Mis expectativas estaban altas y estaba muy entusiasmado por verla. Ahora siento la necesidad de compartir mi experiencia en esta comunidad para aquellos que aún no la han visto.

  Brad Pitt is Ladybug, a professional thief who must board the Bullet Train that goes from Tokyo to Kyōto, to steal a briefcase containing a large amount of money, the briefcase is under the possession of two atypical hitmen, Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), but they will not be the only setback that Ladybug will encounter, since, for some reason (which will be explained in due course) on the train are traveling a number of characters with extraordinary abilities, each with different purposes but intertwined with each other. And so we see all these characters interacting with each other, with a lot of violence, action, blood, through funny situations, very entertaining conversations, all with very, very cool attitudes.

  And this is the kind of movie that I like to call "Cool Cinema", and what would characterize this "Cool Cinema"? The first characteristic are the characters, always with a unique style that usually borders on the extravagant, confident and out of the ordinary attitudes, they can be stupid and others very intelligent (there are always both) the story is not usually the strong point of this type of film, it has a touch of comedy, but also conversations with some depth. it is characterized by having more style than content, it must maintain a fast pace, with many shots and lots and lots of action, fast and intelligent sequences with a varied use of the camera and very elaborate choreography. Everything, everything must be visually appealing, the latter is the most important thing. Right now the examples that come to mind are: *Smokin' Aces* (2006), *Crank* (2006) and of course *Snatch* (200). Bullet Train has all this, and although it has a number of flaws (which for some may be unforgivable), I personally loved it, I spent 2 hours of pure entertainment and fun. Bullet Train has thieves, hitmen, a poisonous snake, it has revenge, ambition, honor and justice.

La trama:

  La trama: Brad Pitt es Mariquita, un ladrón profesional que deberá subir al Tren Bala que va desde Tokio hasta Kioto, para robarse un maletín que contiene una gran cantidad de dinero, el maletín está bajo la posesión de dos atípicos sicarios, Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) y Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), pero ellos no serán el único contratiempo que encontrará Mariquita, ya que, por algún motivo ( el cual será explicado en su momento) en el tren van viajando una serie de personajes con habilidades extraordinarias, cada uno con propósitos diferentes pero entrelazados entre sí. Y así vemos a todos estos personajes interactuando entre sí, con mucha violencia, acción, sangre, a través de situaciones divertidas, conversaciones muy entretenidas, todos con actitudes muy, pero muy Cool.

  Y es que este es ese tipo de películas que me gusta llamar “Cine Cool”, ¿y qué sería lo que caracteriza a este “Cine Cool”? La primera característica son los personajes, siempre con un estilo único que suele rosar lo extravagante, actitudes seguras y fuera de lo común, pueden ser estúpidos y otros muy inteligentes (siempre hay de ambos) la historia no suele ser el punto fuerte de este tipo de película, tiene toque de comedia, pero también conversaciones con cierta profundidad. se caracteriza por poseer más estilo que contenido, debe mantener un ritmo acelerado, con muchos planos y mucha, pero mucha acción, secuencias rápidas e inteligentes con un variado uso de la cámara y coreografía muy elaboradas. Todo, todo debe ser visualmente atractivo, es esto último es lo más importante. Ahora mismo los ejemplos que me vienen a la mente son: *Smokin' Aces* (2006), *Crank* (2006) y por supuesto *Snatch* (200). Bullet Train Posee todo esto, y aunque tiene una serie de fallos (que para algunos pueden ser imperdonables), a mí personalmente me ha encantado, he pasado 2 horas de puro entretenimiento y diversión. Bullet Train tiene ladrones, sicarios, una serpiente venenosa, tiene venganza, ambición, honor y justicia.

  Brad Pitt As Ladybug he is excellent, at 58 years of age he still proves he has a lot to offer, Ladybug is a very superstitious man, who within his criminal life tries to follow his moral code about what is right over what is wrong.

  Joey King as Prince I loved, I became a fan of Joey after his recent work in "The Prince" (movie I reviewed a few weeks back), but this time Prince is a psychopathic, vain and ruthless sociopath, I repeat, I loved it and I really liked his ending.

  Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry as the brothers Tangerine and Lemon, bring a lot to the film, I think they are what bring the fun to the film, their performances are a genius and a total enjoyment.

  Of note are the appearances of Michael Shannon as White Death, Zazie Beetz as The Hornet, Bad Bunny as Wolf, Sandra Bullock as Maria. In addition to them there are a couple of very funny surprise cameos.

  Film directed by David Leitch, who I know for co-directing the action scenes in John Wick, also directed Deadpool 2, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw and Atomic Blonde.

Los personajes:

  Brad Pitt Como Ladybug está excelente, a sus 58 años de edad sigue demostrando que tiene mucho que ofrecer, Ladybug es un hombre muy supersticioso, que dentro de su vida criminal trata de seguir su código moral sobre lo que es correcto por encima de lo incorrecto.

  Joey King como Prince a mí me ha encantado, me convertí en fan de Joey luego de su reciente trabaja en “The Prince” (película que reseñe hace unas semanas atrás), pero en está ocasión Prince es una sociópata psicópata, vanidosa y despiadada, repito, me ha encantado y me ha gustado mucho su final.

  Aaron Taylor-Johnson y Brian Tyree Henry como los hermanos Tangerine y Lemon, aportan mucho a la película, creo que ellos son lo que le aportan la diversión a la película, sus interpretaciones son una genialidad y un disfrute total.

  Cabe destacar las apariciones de Michael Shannon como White Death, Zazie Beetz como The Hornet, Bad Bunny como Wolf, Sandra Bullock como Maria. Además de ellos hay un par de cameos sorpresa muy divertidos.

  Película dirigida por David Leitch, a quien conozco por co dirigir las escenas de acción de John Wick, también dirigió Deadpool 2, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw y Atomic Blonde.

  Excellent performances with a very varied cast that keeps growing throughout the film, you can tell that the actors really enjoyed shooting their scenes. Very well done action sequences with intelligent and real choreographies and an ingenious use of the camera. A couple of negative points would be the C.G.I. in the third act the C.G.I. is from 1990, plus the editing, with so many scenes to paste and assemble, I think the editing process was very accelerated leaving abrupt cuts that sometimes clash. The music is composed by an excellent collection of timely covers that create a perfect symbiosis between the visual and the aural.

  At the end of the second act enters "The Elder", a character played by Hiroyuki Sanada, being him who gives some depth to the story, Hiroyuki is an actor who is typecast in this role of mystic Samurai, with some wisdom and philosophy to share. I personally really like seeing him doing it, I always remember when I saw him in the island temple in "Lost" fighting with Said and reviving young Ben. I really enjoyed his conversations with Ladybug.

La puesta en escena

  Excelentes actuaciones con un reparto muy variado que no para de crecer durante toda la película, se nota que los actores disfrutaron mucho rodando sus escenas. Secuencias de acción muy bien logradas con coreografías inteligentes y reales y un ingenioso uso de la cámara. Un par de puntos negativos sería el C.G.I. en el tercer acto el C.G.I es de 1990 además de la edición, con tantas escenas que pegar y montar, creo que el proceso de edición fue muy acelerado dejando cortes bruscos a en ocasiones desentonan. La música está compuesta por una excelente colección de covers oportunos que crean una simbiosis perfecta entre lo visual y lo auditivo.

  Al final del segundo acto entra “The Elder” un personaje interpretado por Hiroyuki Sanada, siendo él quien le da algo de profundidad a la historia, Hiroyuki es un actor que está encasillado en este papel de Samuray místico, con cierta sabiduría y filosofía que compartir. A mí personalmente me gusta mucho verlo haciéndolo, siempre recuerdo cuando lo vi en el templo de la isla en “Lost” peleando con Said y reviviendo al joven Ben. Disfruté mucho sus conversaciones con Mariquita.
