🎞️ [Review]🎬 Jurassic World: Dominion. Is it as bad as the critics say? 🎥[Eng🎞️Esp ]🎥 ¿Es tan mala como dicen las críticas? 🎬 🎞️

Hello movie and TV Show loving community, I hope you are doing well, I have seen Jurassic World Dominion and I want to tell you about my experience. With so many bad reviews I had read about this movie I went to see it with low expectations, however, I had a huge desire to like what I was going to see. It wouldn't be the first time I would like a movie that is poorly reviewed by the "critics".

The scoop on Jurassic world: Dominion is that the dinosaurs escaped and have already spread around the world and it was very striking to me how that coexistence was going to play out in the face of an impending conflict for survival. The last image from the franchise that always comes to mind is when once the dinosaurs have escaped, J.A. Bayona (Director of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) shows us the T-Rex in a jungle, roaring at the lion. A foreshadowing of the drastic change that would be the coexistence of today's world with dinosaurs.

Hola comunidad amante del cine y de los Shows de TV, espero se encuentren muy bien, he visto Jurassic Wolrd Dominion y quiero comentarles mi experiencia. Con tantas malas críticas que había leído de esta película fui a verla con bajas expectativas, no obstante, levaba conmigo un enorme deseo de que me gustará lo que iba a ver. No sería la primera vez que me gustaría una película que esté mal comentada por los “críticos”.

La primicia de Jurassic world: Dominion es que los dinosaurios se escaparon y ya se ha esparcido por el mundo y se me hacía muy llamativa como se iba a desarrollar esa convivencia ante un inminente conflicto por la supervivencia. La última imagen de la franquicia que siempre me viene a la mente es cuando una vez que los dinosaurios han escapado, J.A. Bayona (Director de Jurassic World: El reino caído) nos muestra al T-Rex en una selva, rugiendo frente al león. Un presagio del drástico cambio que sería la convivencia del mundo de hoy con los dinosaurios.

Another factor that excited me was the idea of seeing the Jurassic Park characters interact with the Jurassic World characters, these are:

From Jurassic Park: Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).

From Jurassic World: Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and the little girl Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon).

In addition to Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong) who has been in all the films.

Since all the characters are known, Jurassic world: Dominion, doesn't spend time developing any of them (with the exception of the girl Maisie) the story focuses on the development of the plots it sets forth. I think that as the story is told there was no time for more, because, although the film lasts almost 2 and a half hours, it is a film with a very fast pace where something is always happening and everything happens very fast.

Otro factor que me entusiasmaba era la idea de ver a los personajes de Jurassic Park interactuar con los de Jurassic World, estos son:

De Jurassic Park: Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Alan Grant (Sam Neill) y Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).

De Jurassic World: Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) y la niña Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon)

Además del Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong) que ha salido en todas las películas.

Como todos los personajes son conocidos, Jurassic world: Dominion, no gasta tiempo en desarrollar ninguno (con excepción de la niña Maisie) la historia se centra en el desarrollo de las tramas que plantea. Creo que como se cuenta la historia no había tiempo para más, ya que, aunque la película dura casi 2 horas y media, es una película con un ritmo muy acelerado donde siempre está pasando algo y todo pasa muy rápido.

The plot is divided into 2: On one side is the Jurassic World team, where Owen and Claire live in a cabin away from everything, where they take care of Maisie and keep the velociraptor Blue and her daughter Baby Blue close to them. The conflict arises when Maisie and Baby Blue are kidnapped, making Owen and Claire go to rescue them, following the clues that will lead them to the Biosyn Genetics facilities.

On the other hand, some species of genetically modified locusts appear, which threaten to wipe out food crops worldwide, curiously the only crops that do not attack are the crops that use the seeds of the pharmaceutical company Biosyn Genetics. Ellie and Dr. Grant (Jurassic Park) will be looking to fix this, following the track of the pharmaceutical company, they will arrive at the Biosyn Genetics facilities. Place where our third protagonist of Jurassic Park, Ian Malcolm, is giving lectures.

La trama:

La trama se divide en 2: Por un lado está el equipo Jurassic World, en el que Owen y Claire vive en una cabaña alejada de todo, donde cuidan a Maisie y mantienen cerca de ellos a la velociraptor Blue y su hija Baby Blue. El conflicto se presenta cuando Maisie y baby blue son secuestradas, haciendo que Owen y Claire vallan a rescatarlas, siguiendo las pistas que los conducirán hasta las instalaciones de Biosyn Genetics.

Por otro lado aparecen unas especies de langostas modificadas genéticamente, las cuales amenazan con acabar con los cultivos de comida a nivel mundial, curiosamente los únicos cultivos que no atacan son las siembras que utilizan las semillas de la farmacéutica Biosyn Genetics. Para buscar arreglar esto estarán Ellie y el Dr Grant (Jurassic Park), ellos siguiendo la pista de la farmacéutica llegarán a las instalaciones de Biosyn Genetics. Lugar donde está dando conferencias nuestro tercer protagonista de Jurassic Park, Ian Malcolm.

Jurassic World: Dominion has the staging that characterizes every respectable Blockbuster, the photography and scenery are impeccable, with impressive and visually attractive panoramic shots. The special effects are another highlight, with the combination of animatronics and CGI they obtained very well done dinosaurs, with new specimens that included feathers that made them more striking and intimidating claws. The performances were not the strongest point of the film, personally I liked Bryce Dallas Howard's work, although at times I thought the director could have pushed harder to increase the tension in some dangerous situations. The handling of suspense I think was another weak point, of course, that becomes difficult when things happen so fast. I really liked the sound mix, the noises emitted by the dinosaurs were terrifying and the music by Michael Giacchino is wonderful.

La puesta en escena

Jurassic world: Dominion posee la puesta en escena que caracteriza a todo Blockbuster respetable, la fotografía y la escenografía son impecables, con tomas panorámicas imponentes y muy atractivas visualmente. Los efectos especiales son otro punto a destacar, con la combinación de animatrónicos con CGI obtuvieron unos dinosaurios muy bien logrados, con nuevos especímenes que incluían plumas que los hacían más llamativos y garras intimidantes. Las actuaciones no fueron el punto fuerte de la película, personalmente me gustó el trabajo de Bryce Dallas Howard, aunque por momentos pensé que el director pudo presionar más para aumentar la tensión en algunas situaciones de peligro. El manejo del suspenso creo que fue otro punto débil, claro, eso se hace difícil cuando las cosas pasan tan rápido. La mezcla de sonidos me gustó mucho, los ruidos emitidos por los dinosaurios eran terroríficos y la música de Michael Giacchino es una maravilla.

Jurassic world: Dominion, was a movie that to me personally did not give me what I expected, the story leaves aside the conflict of human/dinosaur coexistence sharing the planet and takes the path of repeating the formula of previous installments, locking the protagonists in a location full of dinosaurs, looking for a way to get to a helicopter to flee from danger. And this is the great contradiction, because if dinosaurs are populating the planet, danger is present everywhere, so it stopped being Jurassic Park and became Jurassic World.

Another comment is that in the third act when all the characters are together, it made me laugh the fact that no matter what the situation was, a chase or a conversation, I always found a way to get all the characters in one frame. 8 people together, standing around talking to Dr. Wu or watching a dinosaur waiting to run off together. I also laughed at the fact that the characters don't get dirty or mess their hair up, there is a sequence where a character jumps out of a plane with a parachute, the parachute breaks, he falls into the jungle, crawls through a swamp, dives into a dirty river, runs out and a few minutes later he is dry and combed. There is another one that after breaking the ice falls into a frozen lake, dives in, runs out with a dinosaur chasing him. A minute goes by and he's dry and not a bit cold.

But overall I can say that I really enjoyed watching this movie, with its plot holes, its incongruities, its dinosaurs evolved in record time, look there are giant dinosaurs that grew and evolved before Maisie finished her adolescence (dinosaur years must be shorter than dog years). Still, I enjoyed it and recommend it.

Opinión personal:

Jurassic world: Dominion, fue una película que a mí personalmente no me dio lo que esperaba, la historia deja de un lado el conflicto de la convivencia humano/dinosaurio compartiendo el planeta y toma el camino de repetir la fórmula de entregas anteriores, encerrando a los protagonistas en una locación llena de dinosaurios, buscando la forma de llegar hasta un helicóptero para huir del peligro. Y esta es la gran contradicción, porque si los dinosaurios están poblando el planeta, el peligro está presente en cualquier lugar, por eso dejó de ser Jurassic Park y se convirtió en Jurassic World.

Otro comentario es que en el tercer acto cuando están todos los personajes juntos, me hacía reír el hecho que de no importaba cual era la situación, una persecución o una conversación, siempre encontraba la forma de meter a todos los personajes en un solo cuadro. 8 personas juntas, paradas hablando con el Dr Wu o viendo un dinosaurio esperando para salir corriendo todos juntos. De igual manera me hacia reír el hecho de que los personajes no se ensucian ni se despeinan, hay una secuencia donde un personaje salta de un avión en paracaídas, el paracaídas se rompe, cae en la selva, se arrastras por pantano, se sumerge en un rio sucio, sale corriendo y unos minutos después está seco y peinado. Hay otro que después de romper el hielo cae en un lago congelado, se sumerge, sale corriendo con un dinosaurio persiguiéndolo. Pasan un minuto y ya está seco y sin tener ni un poco de frio.

Pero en general puedo decir que disfrute mucho viendo esta película, con sus agujeros de guion, sus incongruencias, sus dinosaurios evolucionados en tiempo record, mira que hay dinosaurios gigantes que crecieron y evolucionaron antes de que Maisie terminará su adolescencia (los años de dinosaurios deben ser más cortos que los años de perros). Aun así, la disfrute y la recomiendo.

To enjoy Jurassic World: Dominion (as with almost every Blockbuster) you have to sit back and see the glass as half full and not half empty. Get carried away with the set design, the action sequences and the dinosaurs, after all, that's what you enjoy in this franchise: Seeing what dinosaurs looked like and seeing people running away from them, and this movie is full of people running away from dinosaurs constantly. My humble rating for Jurassic world: Dominion is a 7/10, I recommend it for family viewing and a very entertaining couple of hours.

Conclusión:

Para disfrutar Jurassic world: Dominion (como en casi todo Blockbuster) hay que sentarse a ver el vaso medio lleno y no medio vacío. Dejarse llevar por los escenarios, las secuencias de acción y los dinosaurios, al fin y al cabo, eso es lo que se disfruta en esta franquicia: Ver cómo eran los dinosaurios y ver a personas escapando de ellos, y esta película está llena de personas escapando de dinosaurios constantemente. Mi humilde calificación para Jurassic world: Dominion es un 7/10, la recomiendo para ver en familia y pasar un par de horas muy entretenidas.
