I just finished this K-Drama and immediately wanted to start writing about it, it's a nice story that falls into the cliché that some people run away from most of the times, but the writers and producers knew how to give it the fresh air with funny situations, romantic scenes that moves your heart and interestingly unexpected situations between the characters.
In my previous post for this community, I commented that I am a romantic by nature, I enjoy romance movies and series since I was a teenager, I have seen many of them from different countries, but I have never ceased to be surprised by the South Korean productions full of feelings. Today I'm going to tell you about one that I didn't plan to start, but the bunch of clips on Tik Tok made it catch my attention, more for the funny scenes.
I started K-Drama without any expectations, I did it to pass the time and ended up watching 4 whole episodes that same night... Today I'm sharing with you my summary of "Business Proposal".
What is the K-Drama about?
The story revolves around four main characters, a protagonist named Shin Ha-ri, talented in her work, she studied in the branch related to food processes and works in GO Foods company as an analyst and creator of new products. She is single but it's all because of an unrequited love she has with her best friend, who is a chef.
But Ha-ri is not alone, she has her best friend Jin Young-seo, with whom she studied in high school and formed a beautiful friendship, she is the daughter of an important businessman of the city and heiress of that conglomerate, Young-seo despite being an important person with a lot of money, is humble and with a very cheerful personality, with this charisma reaches the hearts of Ha-ri's parents and is treated as a daughter.

Young-seo has always dreamed of falling in love for real, but her father has insinuated many times that she should marry someone of her social class because she would be the successor of his fortune, one day she is forced to go on a blind date and she sends Ha-ri to impersonate her and cause the worst of impressions so that this man does not want to marry her.
This is when the whole story starts to get tangled up, Ha-ri impersonates Young-seo and acts crazy in front of none other than Kang Tae-mu, the CEO of the company where Ha-ri works. She was wearing a wig and fancy clothes, so she decides to go through with her plan and then avoid getting with Tae-mu at his company at all costs. After all there was very little chance of them meeting again... Right? * wink-wink *.
On a different plane of the story there is a sweet encounter between Cha Sung-hoon and Young-seo at a store and she ends up falling in love at first sight with him, just with that encounter Young-seo says This is my man!!!, she goes to ask for his number but he had already left... "If 'fate' is that we end up together, soon we'll meet again," was what she thought. It's worth noting that Sung-hoon is Tae-mu's executive assistant. Is there a teeny tiny chance that they will meet? I think so... * wink-wink *.
I laughed writing these paragraphs too, so you can laugh that these words are full of "cliché".
Genre
Comedy, romance.
In that order, it's a random and wacky comedy, it's fun to watch to pass the time and relax a bit, we also find the romance almost on par with the comedy, which stirs the feelings of the viewers with such sweetness.
Plot Rating
This story is an adaptation of a webtoon or digital cartoon, called "Sanae Matsun" which translated means "Blind date in the office", this work is by artist Hae Hwa, which was a big hit among South Korean readers.
Talking a little bit about webtoon adaptations, I have always found it very remarkable that the K-Drama production considers it very important to cast the actors with people similar to the drawings, this has not only been in "Business Proposal", but also in similar projects.
The producers explain that it is important for the series to have more closeness and connection with the audience that knows the plot from the webtoon, which seems to me quite outstanding and professional with the production team.
And going back to the plot, in general it shows a light and quirky style that connects with the audience, it is simple, basic, but the rhythms in the comedy are correctly handled and enjoyed minutes after minutes.

But... There is always a but; I would have liked to see more of everyone, I know it was something light of which I shouldn't demand too much, but when you connect with any production you are always going to expect the best, excellence, for me it's all or nothing, I would have wanted to see much more of everyone.
Ha-ri's brother came out very few times, but we were given to understand that he was a young man with dreams and goals that he wanted to develop outside of his parents' chicken restaurant, he even mentioned on one occasion that he would have liked to be a singer but no other comment was made about it.
Ha-ri's dad didn't get much exposure either but I thought the conversation he had with Tae-mu when he was introducing himself as her boyfriend was very nice, you could see the concerned father side and in a way the happiness because his daughter had found love. I would have liked to see a conversation between Ha-ri and her dad, because you could see the burden he was carrying with the guilt that his daughter may not have fulfilled her dreams, for having the responsibility of being the eldest daughter and raising her family.
From Young-seo we saw her personal and professional growth, when she became independent and cut relations with her dad, even if it meant losing her inheritance and money, we saw her abandon that "stability" to pursue her happiness, but I still felt she needed to be a little more flexible with Sung-hoon, she was very harsh and pointed it out openly without listening to his reasons, I think she was still used to everything revolving around her and she needed more response from Sung-hoon and less apologies.

With Sung-hoon there was a huge story to go through with that character alone, a loyal friend to Tae-mu because of the responsibility he felt towards his family for adopting him and thanks to them leading a good life, a lot to see and discover just by reading this.
Finally from Lee Min Woo, the owner and chef of M Chicken, unrequited love of Ha-ri, I would have liked to inquire about his feelings, if he came to feel something for Ha-ri or just felt some kind of big brother feeling and so they were mistaken for jealousy for the audience (or so I thought).

These stories are entertaining but not much special, this time it was well crafted and they knew how to include comedy in the company of comedy, but... does it have something to reflect with? To learn? To take as a teaching? No!, I give it a 6 and it's a good score for this kind of productions.

My opinion (Contains SPOILER)
There were 12 chapters that could have been better developed, although the problems in the development of the story were quickly solved chapter after chapter, it was possible to delve more intensely into the difficulties the characters were going through.
I felt that there was not much progress in the development of Tae-mu's character, although I did not have many problems with him, at the beginning we saw him systematic, self-centered and narcissistic, there was a radical transformation when he fell in love, but we did not see his process of transformation and personal advancement.
I liked to see the protagonist collapsed when she understood that she was heartbroken by the unrequited love of her best friend, this was the step of overcoming to be able to open her heart again to Tae-mu, someone who had a lot of love to give to her.
There is not much to talk about this story that is a truism after truism, but that surprisingly kept me excited and laughing loudly at midnight, I think you have to value the chemistry between the characters and I don't say of the couples only, we must also make special mention to the friendship of Ha-ri and Young-seo, that goes beyond the screen, because both had previously participated in a K-Drama together and since then they have been friends. That stood out to me in the choice of actresses.
Something that surprised me (as a K-drama viewer since I was 12 years old), was the extensive kissing and later bed scene that was seen, of both couples, I am of the generation that waited 15 episodes to see a hand holding and I am not exaggerating; I was surprised but I celebrated it, it is a breakthrough and a breaking of the barriers of South Korea's conservative society. I celebrated and screamed for a while.

El cliché romántico que remueve corazones: Propuesta laboral.
Acabo de terminar este K-Drama e inmediatamente quise comenzar a escribir sobre él, es una historia bonita que cae en el cliché del cual algunos huyen en la mayoría de las veces, pero los guionistas y productores supieron darle el aire fresco con situaciones graciosas, escenas románticas que te remueve el corazón y situaciones interesantemente inesperadas entre los personajes.
En mi anterior post para esta comunidad, comenté que soy una romántica por naturaleza, disfruto mucho las películas y series de romance desde la adolescencia, he visto muchísimas de diferentes países, pero nunca me han dejado de sorprender las producciones sur coreanas cargadas de sentimientos. Hoy voy a hablarles de una que no pensé iniciar, pero el montón de clips en Tik Tok hizo que captara mi atención, más por las escenas graciosas.
Inicié el K-Drama sin ninguna expectativa, lo hice para pasar el tiempo y terminé viendo 4 capítulos enteros esa misma noche… Hoy les comparto mi resumen de “Propuesta de negocios”.
¿De qué trata el K-Drama?
La historia gira entorno a cuatro personajes principales, una protagonista llamada Shin Ha-ri, talentosa en su trabajo, estudió en la rama relacionada con los procesos de los alimentos y se desempeña en la empresa GO Foods como analista y creadora de nuevos productos. Ella está soltera pero todo es a raíz de un amor no correspondido que tiene con su mejor amigo, el cual es un chef.
Pero Ha-ri no está sola, ella tiene a su mejor amiga Jin Young-seo, con quien estudió en la secundaria y formó una bonita amistad, ella es la hija de un importante empresario de la ciudad y heredera de ese conglomerado, Young-seo a pesar de ser una persona importante y con mucho dinero, es humilde y con una personalidad muy alegre, con este carisma llega a los corazones de los padres de Ha-ri y es tratada como una hija más.

Young-seo siempre ha soñado enamorarse de verdad, pero su papá le ha insinuado muchas veces que tendría que casarse con alguien de su misma clase social porque sería la sucesora de su fortuna, un día es obligada a ir a una cita a ciega y ella envía a Ha-ri para que se haga pasar por ella y cause la peor de las impresiones para que este hombre no quiera casarse con ella.
Aquí es cuando comienza a enredarse toda la historia, Ha-ri se hacer pasar por Young-seo y actúa como una loca frente a nadie más y nadie menos que Kang Tae-mu, director ejecutivo de la empresa donde trabaja Ha-ri. Ella llevaba peluca y ropa lujosa, por lo que decide continuar con su plan y luego evitar a toda costa conseguirse con Tae-mu en su empresa. Después de todo había muy poca posibilidad de que se encontraran de nuevo… ¿Cierto? * guiño-guiño *.
En un plano distinto de la historia hay un encuentro dulce entre Cha Sung-hoon y Young-seo en una tienda y ella termina enamorada a primera vista de él, solo con ese encuentro Young-seo dice ¡Este es mi hombre!, ella va a pedirle su número pero él ya se había ido… “Si el “destino” es que terminemos juntos, próximamente nos encontraremos de nuevo”, fue lo que ella pensó. Cabe destacar que Sung-hoon es el asistente ejecutivo de Tae-mu. ¿Hay una posibilidad pequeñita de que si se encuentren? Yo creo… * guiño-guiño *.
Yo también me reí escribiendo estos párrafos, así que se pueden reír que estás palabras llenas de “cliché”.
Género
Comedia, romance.
En ese orden, es una comedia azarosa y disparatada, es divertida de ver para pasar el rato y relajarse un poco, también encontramos el romance casi a la par con la comedia, que remueve los sentimientos de los espectadores con tanta dulzura.

Valoración de la trama
Esta historia es una adaptación de un webtoon o dibujo digital, llamado "Sanae Matsun” que traducido significa “Cita a ciegas en la oficina”, esta obra es de la artista Hae Hwa, el cual tuvo un gran éxito entre los lectores sur coreanos.
Hablando un poco sobre las adaptaciones de webtoon, siempre me han parecido muy destacado que la producción de los K-Drama consideren muy importante que casting de los actores sean con personas similares a los dibujos, esto no ha sido solo en “Propuesta laboral”, sino también en proyectos similares.
Los productores explican que es importante para que la serie tenga mayor cercanía y conexión con la audiencia que conoce la trama desde el webtoon, lo cual me parece bastante destacado y profesional con el equipo de producción.
Y volviendo a la trama, en general muestra un estilo ligero y extravagante que conecta con la audiencia, es sencilla, básica, pero los ritmos en la comedia están correctamente manejados y se disfrutan minutos tras minutos.
SPOILER
Pero… Siempre hay un pero; me hubiese gustado ver más de todos, sé que era algo ligero de lo cual no debería exigir mucho, pero cuando conectas con cualquier producción siempre vas a esperar lo mejor, la excelencia, para mí es todo o nada, hubiese querido ver mucho más de todos.
El hermano de Ha-ri salió muy pocas veces, pero nos dio a entender que era un joven con sueños y metas que quería desarrollar fuera del restaurante de pollos de sus padres, llegó a mencionar en una ocasión que le hubiese gustado ser cantante pero ningún otro comentario se hizo al respecto.
El papá de Ha-ri tampoco tuvo mucha exposición pero me pareció muy bonita la conversación que llegó a tener con Tae-mu cuando él se estaba presentando como su novio, se pudo observar la faceta de padre preocupado y de cierta forma la felicidad porque su hija había encontrado el amor. Me hubiese gustado ver una conversación entre Ha-ri y su papá, porque se veía el peso que llevaba él con la culpa de que su hija, tal vez no haya cumplido sus sueños, por tener la responsabilidad de ser la hija mayor y sacar a su familia adelante.
De Young-seo vimos su crecimiento personal y profesional, al independizarse y cortar relaciones con su papá, aunque esto significara perder su herencia y su dinero, la vimos abandonar esa “estabilidad” por buscar su felicidad, pero aún sentí que necesitaba ser un poco más flexible con Sung-hoon, era muy dura y lo señalaba abiertamente sin escuchar sus razones, creo que aún estaba acostumbrada a que todo girara entorno a ella y le hizo falta mayor respuesta de Sung-hoon y menos disculpas.

Con Sung-hoon había una enorme historia que recorrer solo con ese personaje, un amigo fiel a Tae-mu por la responsabilidad que sentía hacia su familia por haberlo adoptado y gracias a ellos llevar una buena vida, mucho que ver y descubrir solo con leer esto.
Finalmente de Lee Min Woo, el propietario y chef de M Chicken, amor no correspondido de Ha-ri, me hubiese gustado indagar sobre sus sentimientos, si llegó a sentir algo por Ha-ri o solo sintió algún tipo de sentimiento de hermano mayor y por ello se confundieron con celos por la audiencia (o eso pensé yo).
Puntaje

Estas historias son entretenidas pero no tienen mucho de especial, en esta ocasión fue bien elaborada y supieron incluir la comedia en compañía del romance, pero… ¿tiene algo con lo cual reflexionar? ¿Aprender? ¿Tomar como enseñanza? ¡No!, le doy un 6 y es una buena puntuación para este tipo de producciones.
Mi opinión (Contiene SPOILER)
Fueron 12 capítulos que pudieron estar mejor desarrollados, aunque los problemas en el desarrollo de la historia se solucionaban rápidamente capítulo tras capítulo, se pudo profundizar con mayor intensidad en las dificultades por las que atravesaban los personajes.
Sentí que no hubo mucho avance de en el desarrollo del personaje de Tae-mu, aunque no llegué a tener muchos problemas con él, al inicio lo vimos sistemático, egocéntrico y narcisista, hubo una transformación radical al enamorarse, pero no vimos su proceso de transformación y avance personal.
Me gustó ver a la protagonista derrumbada al entender que tenía el corazón roto por el amor no correspondido de su mejor amigo, esto fue el paso de superación para poder abrir nuevamente su corazón a Tae-mu, alguien que tenía mucho amor para dar hacia ella.
No hay mucho que hablar de esta historia que es una obviedad tras obviedad, pero que sorpresivamente me mantuvo emocionada y riendo fuertemente a la media noche, creo que hay que valorar la química que hubo entre los personajes y no digo de las parejas solamente, también hay que hacer especial mención a la amistad de Ha-ri y Young-seo, que traspasa pantalla, porque ambas ya habían participado anteriormente en un K-Drama juntas y desde ello han sido amigas. Eso me pareció destacado en la elección de las actrices.
Algo que me sorprendió (como espectadora de los K-drama desde los 12 años), fue la extensa escena de beso y posteriormente de cama que se vio, de ambas parejas, soy de la generación que esperaba 15 capítulos para ver una tomada de mano y no exagero; me sorprendí pero lo celebré, es un avance y una ruptura de las barreras de la sociedad conservadora de Corea del Sur. Lo celebré y grité un rato.

Yo anotando estos kdramas , además de otros que han recomendado en la comunidad, pro si algún di decido ver uno completo. Lo que si veo que tienen todos los kdramas , doramas y similares es que el elenco es extremadamente guapo.

La sociedad coreana tiene altos estándares de belleza y exigen que sus artistas sean excepcionales, desde su talento hasta su figura y rostro, por ello no sorprende que los casting de los K-Dramas y películas sean super guapos.

Me sorprendió cuando vi el post hace unas horas, pero bueno aquí volviendo de mis largas labores... Creo que 6/10 es poco ve un punto bueno es que Ahn Hyo-seop a logrado obtener 7 millones de seguidores en su cuanta de Instagram en la ultima semana. No estableceré puntos de la serie, pero es innegable que existen desfaces con respecto al Webtoon que leí. Pienso que esta era una historia que debía desarrollarse en 16 capítulos y no 12. Ademas existen otros factores, como el hecho de lo envolvente de la relación de los cuatro... Existe algo que no me gusto, pero lo escribiré próximamente.
Opino lo mismo, tal vez los mismos productores no le tuvieron mucha fe a la serie y por eso decidieron darles solo 12 capítulos, pero era una historia para desarrollarse en 16.
La historia era entretenida, dulce y divertida, pero no tuvo algo extraordinario por lo cual desde mi opinión darle más puntos, la disfruté pero no hay mucho que tomar de ella, el Webtoon no lo he leído, quizás deba darle una oportunidad, pero los dibujos me parecieron estéticamente hermosos, la artista es excelente.

Yo tengo desde hace como dos semanas poder terminar de ver esta serie y no había podido ¿Dónde encontraste la serie completa? en google donde la busque no me salian sino hasta el captulo 10 y por eso no pude terminar de verla porque decia que la serie se transmitiria completa solo por Netflix que locura! y todo esto es porque desde el capitulo uno la serie me atrapo, me mori de risa desde que inicio, es una historia muy hermosa y diferente.
