RE: HIGH RISK (Or SATISFACTION if that title sounds better to you)

That is a great film review! I certainly will look for this movie. The actors alone--what a cast. James Coburn, Anthony Quinne, Clevon Little (when was the last time I saw him in anything?). I think the distinction you make between Romancing the Stone and this movie is significant. This is a classic adventure film, which in most cases means the action is all about the men and the women are expendable accessories. Romancing the Stone would not have existed without the female role.

You should write more reviews, although next time I hope you are not ill. So sorry you were too ill to carry on your usual activities. Get better really soon.

I rarely watch movies in the last few years. 😀 But I often listen to reviews on YouTube. That's because I can work on photographs and future posts while listening. Watching a movie, especially if is a good one, doesn't let me do other things. I regularly put a movie to watch before sleep, but rarely see more than five or ten minutes, and repeat those five to ten minutes for five, six, or ten nights and then give up and forget about that movie. Then I choose another one and it all plays the same way again.
Glad that you like the review. 🙂Now that I have written the first one, maybe the next one will be easier to do.

I especially like to say a few words about obscure, forgotten, or never well-known stuff. Now, with the Internet always at hand, isn't so hard to dig out interesting gems. I like even some bad or mediocre old movies or TV products because they are so fascinating as artifacts of a different period.

Today I feel considerably better, so I'll spend some time outside the house. I think the movie break is over 🙂. But I saw a bunch of movies. They are still fresh in my mind. So maybe I'll make a few similar posts soon.

I started it this morning while I was waking. Got to 27 minutes in. First time I noticed a woman in the movie she was in a swimming suit. Second time, she was in a towel😆. I'll have to catch the rest later as I go to sleep to see how the plot and the role of women develop.

When I'm trying to sleep I do the same thing you do. I start a Youtube video until I doze off. Night after night I try to catch the same video at approximately where I left off. Usually my videos are about history. Sometimes about nature, or a biography.

I wonder how many people do the same thing? You and I across the sea, having the same sleep routine. Funny

😆YouTube is universal sleep assistance. I have phases when I use documentaries before sleep. Sometimes just music. Just music grants me the best sleep, and has the best effects when I'm waking up ... but in those, five to ten minutes before falling asleep I prefer to watch something, so I don't choose music very often.

Many times I put on a movie that sounds nice when the people in it are just talking and I fall asleep ... and then ... half an hour later ... they start shooting at each other. The cars are driving fast and loudly. Windows are breaking, things are exploding 😆 and soon I'm awake again.
