We've had several days of no school here, in my world... someone texted someone else... threatened... used the "gonna shoot you" phrase. So, the Police investigated and found there wasn't anything to worry about... a misunderstanding. Not the same situation as you have there... but you can imagine there were many parents that did indeed think there was something to worry about! Much like your situation there now... I know that these devices are meant to be a form of entertainment. And yes... sometimes parents use them as a form of being a "babysitter". Now... I love technology, video games, and all that stuff. But the techno world can also become a very dangerous one if parents aren't made to be aware of the possibilities. Again... your sharing this helps to promote that positive message...
