Yes well people are generally idiots, so there's always tomorrow until there isn't and then it's too late. I try to not be late with stuff so I'd rather gush all over the people I love now and take the consequences of it than them thinking I didn't take the opportunity. Seize the opportunity when you have it I reckon. What's the worst that can happen?
