I had music lessons until college and so did my kids. Everyone plays something, especially fun at family gatherings. Christmas especially. Other than that, it possibly helps in developing other skills, but, I'm not really sure. I felt like it helped round out my kids a bit, and appreciate music.
As far as working best? Nights. Definitely. I work at night. It is also when I think best, in my opinion.
I think the exhaustion thing is spot on. It forces you to concentrate and then suddenly, I am over the tired hump and wired for sound. I am all sorts of motivated to get things done.
Weird, yes?
I really where this post brought me.
Learning an instrument is great for a brain and I think most should at least try. I just wonder if people put their kids into learning because it is great for most people - If you know what I mean.
I guess the trick to problem solving is sleeping as little as possible! 😂
Every child is an individual and some just arent cut out for it. After an initial try, if it doent work out well, I would hope to release the child. To me, you are keeping them there for yourself
