Wait a minute! Do you do things just because you want to do them or you set out a clear plan on how to achieve it? There are people who are fond of doing things without being clear about how to go about it. For everyone who wants to be productive and record groundbreaking achievements, it is important to avoid vagueness and obscurity. It is important to have specific goals and targets to be able to actively pursue them.

It does not matter whether you work throughout the 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week, you need the right direction otherwise all those hours and days would be a waste. Passion, hardwork, consistency etc does not suffice but it should go hand-in-hand with a clear direction. There is the need to be sure of what to do, how to do it, what to expect along the line, and so on. In other words, you need to be fully aware of anything you are getting into before you dive into it.

A major important part of school that most people failed to have a personal experience with is writing their final year thesis/project by themselves. In the course of writing your thesis, you'd realize the importance of research and gathering of important materials before starting the work proper. People who fail to achieve what they desire may look back and find out that one of the reason they have failed is because they are disorganized and lack a clear understanding of the task. When you are organized you will be able to perform effectively and efficiently.

There are multiple entrances into a market and this is the same with our life goals as well. Even if you have the same or similar idea with someone, it does not mean that you must use the same approach the person used to achieve their own target. There are different ways to approach life issues and tasks, the most important thing is to know what is going to give you the best results. In most sports, you'd observe that teams tweak their formations to suit their opponents and this is simply because they have a sense of direction.

This brings us to the fact that we must defeat our fears and be open to trying new things. We must not be bent on adopting the techniques, methodologies and style that other people used - we should give room for exploring and this can only be possible with clarity. It is impossible to want to embark on a journey to a place for the first time without knowing the preferred route to take and what to expe the at the destination. When you have armed yourself with these vital information you'd have confidence, make less errors and above all avoid any form of mistake that will ruin your goal.
