RE: Think like a Viking: Part seventeen

in Self Improvement3 years ago

I could possibly write a 4000 word comment on this, but alas I shall refrain. Why? I have much to do - taking action and all, y'know?

However I must ask the question - of all the possible places to raid, why Britain? You know the weather there is shite right? I've lived there for over a year, it was dreadful (no offence to them Brits here- that was just my experience), even went back again 8 years later to see if it was just my naivety, second time it was just as gloomy. Can I sit out the raiding party until you decide on a more adventurous destination?

On a more serious note though, I like the quote, it's raw and 'in-your-face' prompting movement.

Hmm, good question. I guess mainly because they raided there in times gone by with mixed success. It just feels right to go back and more thoroughly raid and pillage; to really give it a good go.

There's other places we might raid though. Let me thinking about it over the week and maybe take a look on my next think like a Viking post. It's extremely possible that we could change course and sail to some more interesting places.

For the record, I was in England for a month and never saw a bad day, it was blue skies and 28 all the way. (June 2018) so maybe my perspective is somewhat skewed?

4000 words comments? Ye gods! That would be something to see. 🤪

Lol ok, that makes conventional sense, you got nice weather while you were there, you lucky fish. Perhaps I am weather biased lol.

Yeah, I know how lucky I got to have that nice weather as normally it's shite. I like the UK though, enough to conduct Viking raids there despite the shit weather.
