RE: LICHENS AND POLYPORES ON THE ROTTING WOOD

Wow!
Never cease to amaze me.
The mushrooms seen here seemed to be the ones we do eat. Because its shape look familiar. Though I know they are poisonous ones, but in my locality I haven't been told there's such. So we cook any mushroom and consume. I don't know if it has some health implications. @borjan what do you think? Does it?

Sort:

If nobody died from eating them 😃 the mushrooms must have been good. Here where I live, experimenting with mushrooms can be very dangerous. We have quite a few poisonous species that can bring a very painful death.

LoL
We're fortunate over here, I guess. This means I need to enlighten them to be more careful. What could make them poisonous ?

There is a wide variaty of poisons in various poisonous mushrooms. There isn't one characteristic that separates the poisonous and non-poisonous. Every species is another story.

Oh this is getting interesting 😊

Let me check out your next post and see what I got to hear 😊 Thank you very much @borjan
