Hello Everyone

May we always be in a healthy and happy condition

Warm greetings to all of Fungi Lovers friends, in this post I'll share photos taken with a smartphone camera and an APL 100mm macro lens. I found a small plant growing on a coconut tree trunk that had been cut down for some time and had rotted near my side yard, the size of this plant is quite small, only 10 to 20 mm.

It's a little easier to photograph mushrooms, but we have to be careful when adjusting the angle so that the object being photographed looks clear and sharp because of its small size; it's a challenge for beginners like me who have to pay attention to the distance between the object and the camera according to the range of the macro lens used.

After browsing the internet, this mushroom that I found has the scientific name Mycena olivaceomarginata brown mix with white which belongs to the Mycenaceae mushroom family where each type of wood mushroom has its uniqueness, such as the object I photographed has a slanted stem similar to the handle on an umbrella.

This sort of wood fungus can be found in wet regions and often grows on trees or rotten wood; however, the wood fungus can develop on its own in moist trees or logs that have previously been chopped.

Hopefully, my content today will be useful to all of us, and I hope that in the future, I will be able to share better photography content than before.

Thank You
