FungiFriday - My First Mushrooms Of The Year (6pics)

Greetings friends.
So the day came when mushrooms came to my house. Actually, Mom brought the mushrooms. I was working remotely from home today and my mom said she wanted to go to the forest to look for mushrooms. She had already brought some mushrooms last night and decided to consolidate her success today.
In general, we thought that this year there would be no mushrooms in the forest because, in 2 summer months, it rained only 3 times, but now it has been raining for the second week and mushrooms have begun to grow in our yard. This is a sure sign that edible mushrooms should appear in the forest.
My mother loves picking mushrooms very much. But now I forbid her to go far from home, she has become in poor health, and she walks badly, but this cannot stop her from going mushroom picking.

At 16:00, my working day ended, I drank tea, took the dog, and went for a walk with her. The mushrooms were waiting for me. They stood near the road and shouted at me - look at us, take a photo and show us to your friends.
The mushrooms were still shouting at me - take us with you, but when I saw them, I realized that I had forgotten to take some containers to carry the mushrooms. So I just did a photoshoot with mushrooms and left them standing in their places.

I haven't been in this forest for about 2 weeks. Big changes have taken place. The trees began to turn autumn colors. It's too early.
The rosehip is ripe, we can go collect it and dry it so that it is stored in winter. And many more boneberries.

It turned out to be a good walk. I like the weather to be no more than +18 degrees. I really hope that the weather conditions will be comfortable for the growth of mushrooms in the forest and I will also go look for them with my wife.

Foraging for mushrooms and berries is one of my favorite things to do! My daughter plans to go out this weekend. Wild plums are ripe and ready to be picked!

The daughter is planning, and you?

I am no longer able to walk and my mobility scooter won't go in the woods.

Pretty sadly, but ofc that is understandable... Claim your daughter to provide you with photos of her great finds 🙏 she has to document her process well ! 🐈🐈

🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪

Interesting blue staining on the first photo, is that from the mushroom itself?

Yes. they turn so blue if they lie for a long time without treatment.

First find of the year?
Good for you, congrats! They are beautiful, slowly our season is coming
