Hello Everyone
This mushroom is unique. I've never found it before. It seems that this fungus has a closer relationship with Polypores than with Agaricales. I don't find many references to this type of mushroom. It's possible that the mushrooms are inedible.

According to Wikipedia this fungus is called Panus. This panus fungus is known as dead wood rot. I found this fungus on dead wood at least damp. Panus is purple when young and fresh. Unlike other mushrooms. Even the stems of this eccentric mushroom.

Not only in Indonesia, in other countries there are also many types of mushrooms. In Indonesia in general there are many mushrooms encountered in the after-rain. Maybe in another country in the spring. Actually many types of fungi have not been distinguishable kingdom Even some types that can be consumed

Excellent photography on this unusual mushroom, never seen one quite like this with fine fibers on the top.

@tipu curate

Hi @joanstewart . Nice to see you again. Are you alright? yuups. I have never encountered this type of mushroom. I keep looking for information about these mushrooms, unfortunately I do not get many references

@qwerrie says fluffy, I say fibers or hairy ha ha....

All well down here @anzirpasai, finding unusual is always a problem when trying to identify, sometimes it takes months before you may get an inkling of an idea...., when not looking of course!

It is Fluffy !!

Hi @qwerrie . Thank you. How are you doing?

thanks for asking. I am having a little weekly holiday from my job, was out of town. now back to the office!

Wow.. That is cool. Sometimes we will get bored always being at wor. Need a little freshness out there. Hehehe

Wow amazing color and fluff, these remind me of Phyllotopsis nidulans except yours are purple and have a stem compared to nidulans that are orange and don't have a clear stem.

Yupps brother @sketch.and.jam . I think it's a kingdom of Phyllotopsis nidulans. But after observing it turns out that the type is not the same. And on some sites do not give the results of the study so much

it is so fluffffffyyyy like a kitty

Thank you very much for visiting my posts.
