RE: Overcoming Barriers to Kindness was supposed to be the topic...

Thank you for your kind words Wes. I agree with the idea of festivals and celebrations being about kindness. People, including me, can lose sight of that sometimes. Especially in a time when everything seems to be a competition and you are not marked as a success unless there is a failure. Happy to have found my tribe here who are human first and don't think along this artificial construct of zero sum games.

I must tell you that your reply allowed me to sleep soundly. When I put out this post I was worried about if it was too long, or too negative, or too convoluted. I have tried to be succinct normally, but I find that my natural way in this blogging space is to be slightly more verbose. And I was worried if that would not serve the topic that I wanted to highlight. Finally i was concerned if it was too much of a me issue to throw on the community.

I saw the notification of your comment on FRIDAY and had a quick read and it put my mind to rest. You make me feel seen and I appreciate you for it. Also you are a fellow brother in making comments into posts :) We should probably form an union :D Your reply helped assuage my concerns on the post, and I knew it was the right thing to publish it. Allowed me to sleep well. Much obliged :)

Cheers!
