Mi embarazo - Experiencia de una madre joven y primeriza (Esp - Eng)

¡Hola amigos de Hive! Hoy quiero contarle acerca de como me di cuenta que estaba embarazada y como fue mi embarazo.

Como ya algunos sabrán por mi introducción, soy una madre muy joven, tuve a mi hijo cuando solo tenía 16 años, me tocó dejar el colegio ya que no podía ir estando embarazada.

As some of you may know I am a very young mother, I had my son when I was only 16 years old, I had to leave school because I couldn't go to school when I was pregnant.

A pesar de que apenas era una adolescente y me faltaba mucha madurez mi pareja y yo tomamos mi embarazo de una manera muy madura y bonita.

¿Cómo me entere de mi embarazo?

Aquí les va: Yo era una chica a la que le venia la menstruación regularmente al darme de cuenta que no me había venido por casi dos meses y estaba presentando muchas infecciones vaginales, vómitos, mareos, dolores de cabeza etc. No era algo normal para mi y me estaba afectando mucho, así que decidí con mi pareja hacerme una prueba de embarazo casera, la cual dio positivo al instante woooow la verdad nosotros no lo esperábamos, pero fue un momento lleno de alegría.

Even though I was just a teenager and lacked a lot of maturity, my partner and I took my pregnancy in a very mature and beautiful way.

How did I find out about my pregnancy?

Here it is: I was a girl who got her period regularly when I realized that I hadn't had my period for almost two months and I was having a lot of vaginal infections, vomiting, dizziness, headaches, etc. I realized that it wasn't normal for me and I was having a lot of problems. It was not something normal for me and it was affecting me a lot, so I decided with my partner to take a home pregnancy test, which was positive instantly woooow the truth we did not expect it, but it was a moment full of joy.

Como el día sábado fue que me hice la prueba de embarazo, nos toco esperar hasta el día lunes para confirmarlo con una prueba de sangre. Se llega el día lunes a la pareja le tocaba ir al trabajo lo cual llamo y dijo que no podía asistir ya que tenia que acompañarme al medico, estábamos muy ansiosos.

Luego de esperar por minutos me tocó mi turno entre me sacaron sangre y me dijeron que esperará afuera una hora que en ese tiempo estaría listo mi resultado, al pasar la hora efectivamente nos confirmaron con estas palabras "Felicidades esta usted embarazada", estábamos que moríamos de emoción al llegar a casa llamamos a nuestras madres para decirles ¡Señoras prepárense porque van a ser abuelas! estamos esperando un bebé aun no sabemos si es niña o niño Nuestras madres estaban muy contentas con su nieto o nieta.

Since I took the pregnancy test on Saturday, we had to wait until Monday to confirm it with a blood test. On Monday, my partner had to go to work, so he called and said he could not attend because he had to accompany me to the doctor, we were very anxious.

After waiting for minutes it was my turn to take my blood and they told me to wait outside for an hour and then my result would be ready, when the hour passed they confirmed it with these words "Congratulations you are pregnant", we were dying of excitement when we got home we called our mothers to tell them "Ladies get ready because you are going to be grandmothers! we are expecting a baby we still do not know if it is a girl or a boy. Our mothers were very happy with their grandson or granddaughter.

A los 2 meses y medio empece mi control gracias a Dios todo estaba bien escuchamos por primera vez los latidos de su corazoncito y hasta lloramos de emoción, empecé a tomar los medicamentos que me envió el doctor los cuales eran; ácido folico, vitamina D, Hierro, todo para que el bebe estuviera bien y no fuera a salir bajito de peso, En cambio yo si baje mucho de peso los primeros meses por que no me provocaba comer y lo que comía lo vomitaba esa etapa fue difícil pero la superamos.

At 2 and a half months I started my control thank God everything was fine we heard for the first time the heartbeat of his little heart and even cried with excitement, I started taking the medications that the doctor sent me which were; folic acid, vitamin D, iron, all so that the baby was well and was not going to leave underweight, however I if I lost a lot of weight the first months because it did not cause me to eat and what I ate I vomited that stage was difficult but we overcame it.

A las 18 semanas con 3 días me hago mi primer ecografía estábamos muy ansiosos y emocionados ya queríamos saber como estaba el bebe y si era niño o niña. Gracias a Dios el bebe estaba muy bien de tamaño, peso, todo, todo estaba bien. Y adivinen que era un niñooo que estábamos esperando que emoción cuando nos dijeron ¡Felicidades estas esperando un niño! Que momento tan emotivo lleno de amor y felicidad.

At 18 weeks and 3 days I had my first ultrasound, we were very anxious and excited and we wanted to know how the baby was and if it was a boy or a girl. Thank God the baby was very well in size, weight, everything, everything was fine. And guess what a boy we were expecting? What a thrill when we were told Congratulations you are expecting a boy! What an emotional moment full of love and happiness.

Mi Primera Ecografía

Ya transcurrido el tiempo ya tenia 36 semanas ya casi se acercaba el momento tan esperado, me realizaron mi segunda ecografía y todo estaba muy bien había recuperado mucho peso porque comía demás y a toda hora.

Pasaron semanas y el 30 de marzo empieza lo verdaderamente fuerte los dolores pase todo el día con dolor de parto leves, cuando se hicieron las las 7 de la noche tenía muchas dolor y estaba preocupada porque había empezado todo esto de la pandemia del covid-19 tenia mucho miedo, yo me encontraba con mi papá y su esposa, porque mi pareja estaba en el trabajo y no podía salir por lo del covid y si salí ya tenia que esperar algunas semanas para poder entrar, entonces le dije: cuando ya no aguante te aviso para que te vengas.

Time went by and I was already 36 weeks and the long awaited moment was almost approaching, I had my second ultrasound and everything was fine, I had regained a lot of weight because I was eating the rest all the time.

Weeks went by and on March 30 the really strong pains started, I spent the whole day with mild labor pains, when it was 7 o'clock at night I was in a lot of pain and I was worried because this whole covid-19 pandemic had started, I was very afraid, I met with my dad and his wife, because my partner was at work and could not go out because of the covid and if I went out I had to wait a few weeks to be able to enter, so I told him: when I could not stand it anymore I would tell you so that you could come back.

Se hicieron las 9 de la noche me dirijo al centro de maternidad con mi papá a ver si ya la dilatación estaba en 5 ¿Por qué en 5? Porque es que dejan a uno internada. Bueno resulta que apenas tenia 3 de dilatación y estaba que moría con el dolor nos mandaron a casa que si seguían los dolor más fuerte o rompiera fuente volviera.

Llegue a casa no dormí nada en toda la noche porque cada vez los dolores eran más fuertes, a las 6 de la mañana 31 de marzo, llame a mi pareja que se viniera que ya no aguantaba más le dije te espero en el centro de maternidad. Me fui con mi papa otra vez al medico, me pasaron y ya tenia 7 de dilatación me dejaron hospitalizada, todo el transcurso de la mañana lo pasé con mucho más dolor y cada vez más fuerte, a las 11:00am me pusieron pitozin para ayudarme a dilatar más porque no pasaba de los 7. Esperaron hasta que dilata hasta los 10 para poder proceder con el parto.

It was 9 p.m. I went to the maternity center with my dad to see if my dilation was already at 5. Why 5? Because they leave you in the hospital. Well it turns out that I was only 3 dilated and I was dying with the pain and they sent us home that if the pain continued to get worse or my water broke, I should come back.

I got home I did not sleep all night because the pain was getting stronger and stronger, at 6:00 a.m. on March 31st, I called my partner to come home because I could not take it anymore, I told him I was waiting for you at the maternity center. I went with my dad again to the doctor, he passed me and I was already 7 dilated and left me hospitalized, the whole course of the morning I spent with much more pain and increasingly stronger, at 11:00 am they put me pitozin to help me dilate more because they did not pass the 7. They waited until they dilated to 10 to proceed with the delivery.

A las 12:45pm me pasaron a la sala de parto porque ya estaba en 10 de dilatación, y a la 1:15 de la tarde nació mi bello hijo Santiago, gracias a Dios todo salió bien, Me sentí la mujer más afortunada y feliz al sentir y tener a mi bebe por primera vez en mis brazos acariciarlo y besarlo fue algo tan bello.

At 12:45pm she took me to the delivery room because I was already in 10 days of dilation, at 1:15 in the afternoon my beautiful son Santiago was born, thank God everything went well, I was the luckiest and happiest woman to feel and have my baby for the first time in my arms, caressing and kissing him was so beautiful.

A las 4:30 dejaron pasar a mi pareja para que lo viera y no se imaginan lo feliz que estaba al ver a su bebe fue un momento maravilloso.

At 4:30 he let my partner to see him and you can't imagine how happy he was to see his baby, it was a wonderful moment.
