#MamarazziChallengeIV: In The Act! [ENG-ESP]

Challenge of the Week: Mamarazzi in the Act!

When a woman finds out that she will be a mother, a chip in our brain is automatically activated that makes us obsessive compulsive to record everything that happens in our baby's environment: we take pictures of the belly, we frame the ultrasounds, we even take photos to gifts and things that we buy for the baby (and it never ends).

The time fly and we want to keep (as much as possible) the memories of our little ones. I have been in that plan for 8 years and I never get tired of taking photos and recording videos of my little flower, so yes, this challenge from mamarazzi is definitely for me.

These days I cooked some aubergine skewers in bechamel sauce and cheese, my daughter liked it so much and her delight was so picturesque, that I decided to record it while she was eating. As she was finishing, I captured the red-handed moment where (after licking his fingers) he grabbed the plate and licked it.

My first reaction was to laugh, I really did not expect her to do that, and I was very pleased to realize that even though my girl does not speak with words, her gestures show that she really liked the food and therefore I did all right.

We moms try to do the best for our childs and moments like this make it all worthwhile.

Reto de la semana: Mamarazzi in Fraganti!

Cuando una mujer se entera que será mamá, automáticamente se activa un chip en nuestro de cerebro que nos hace obsesivas compulsivas para registrar todo lo que sucede en el entorno de nuestro bebé: le tomamos fotos a la barriga, enmarcamos las ecografías, hasta le tomamos fotos a los regalos y las cosas que compramos para el bebé (y nunca termina).

El tiempo es inexorable y queremos guardar (tanto como sea posible) los recuerdos de nuestros pequeños. Yo tengo 8 años en ese plan y nunca me canso de tomarle fotos y grabar videos a mi florecita, así que sí, este reto de mamarazzi sin duda es para mí.

En estos días cociné unos pinchos de berenjena en salsa bechamel y queso, a mi hija les gustó tanto y su deleite era tan pintoresco, que decidí grabarla mientras comía. Cuando estaba terminando, capturé el momento in fraganti en el que (después de chuparse los dedos) agarró el plato y le pasó la lengua.

Mi primera reacción fue echarme a reír, realmente no esperaba que hiciera eso, y me sentí muy complacida al darme cuenta que a pesar de que mi niña no habla con palabras, sus gestos demuestran que de verdad le gustó la comida y por ende lo hice bien.

Las mamás tratamos de hacer lo mejor para nuestros retoños y momentos como este hacen que valgan la pena.
