Hello beautiful moms and cool and smart dads around the world. How are you?? Greetings from me, Aceh, Indonesia. Mothers are angels without wings to their children, heroes without swords and guides without limits. Usually a mother will be the person closest to the children. The duties and responsibilities of mothers are very large, starting from the zero point of a child until he grows up.
For me, being a mother is a gift from God. Where I can share and can feel something I can't express. I am the only child of my parents. No matter what I did, I was always alone, with no friends at home to play with like my other friends when I was a child. Now I have a child and also a friend with whom I share my affection. He is my pride, my hope, he is my everything.
Now he has started attending kindergarten and is also learning the Koran. In the study place now is the time for exams. It was a very tough challenge for me. I had to teach him to memorize prayers. The challenges are quite a lot. I have to patiently guide him to give him instructions so that he repeats all his prayers until smooth. The materials that must be mastered are:
- Prayers for parents and lines in the Qur'an
- Prayer before bed and prayer after waking up
- Prayer before eating and after eating
- Pillars of Faith and Pillars of Islam
- The names of heaven and hell
- Islamic month names and arabic numerals 1-10
Children who are only 6 years old are very difficult to make him understand and want to do what we want. I tested his memorization when he was riding a bicycle, when I bathed him, while playing, even when he was learning to write I tested his memorization. It is very difficult to make him repeat the material that will be the exam material. The only way for him to want to repeat the course material is for us to play with him while reading the lesson material so he can remember it. Then we asked questions one by one according to the schedule determined by the ustazah at his place of study.
As he rode his bicycle, I waited for him to go round and round as he recited the rote.
Even when he played keleng, I was still testing his memorization😊. Patience is the main key to train children to learn and be responsible for exams.
Whenever I have time I will definitely use it to test his memorization. When I bathe her, dress her, feed her, and the night is the longest time for him to study. But not infrequently he just holds a book and falls asleep.
I ask for prayers and support from all of you, I wish my son success in his exams🙏🙏
