Hello hiver, how are you moms and dads, nest lovers around the world??
Welcome to my blog @raimah. Here I want to share my experience celebrating my son's first birthday at the age of 6 years. I will never forget the historic day when I first brought her into this world by caesarean section. For the past 5 years I have always given him small gifts with lots of love and affection. I never celebrated it, because we were ordinary people and lived in the village. Around me, hardly anyone celebrates his birthday or his family. Few people organize events for their children.
He always said he wanted to celebrate his birthday just like he saw on television. There are balloons, there are birthday cakes, there are friends and of course lots of gifts. But I always say it's an artist's son celebrating a birthday. No one is here to celebrate. Even a mother does not give gifts on her child's birthday unlike she who always gets birthday wishes and gifts from her mother.
But this year, everything I said doesn't apply anymore. when it entered November he had already started counting down the days and dates. He was looking forward to his birthday as usual on November 15th. Everything changed on November 13, where there was a school friend in kindergarten celebrating his birthday at school. As soon as he came home from school he was already crying because his school friends celebrated his birthday at school, his parents were not artists, his mother did not appear on television. Can you imagine how I felt at that time? There is no money, if you want to make an event at school it costs a lot.
Then I told my cousin who was beside the house. And thank God, he had the idea to make a party at home as a surprise on his birthday when he came home from school and was greeted with our birthday cake. Then in the afternoon I go shopping to make the most affordable chocolate brownies in my pocket.
The night we started work, I made brownies in lieu of a birthday cake. Meanwhile my sister made a crown and decoration on the cake. We prepared everything just to please my son. It's really a surprise for him tomorrow, because we prepared it secretly.
When she came home from school, she was greeted by her aunt and blindfolded. Then I came with a cake, it was really my first experience seeing the reaction of my son who was very happy to receive a happy birthday from me. Then she received birthday wishes from her cousin, aunt, and grandmother.
Thank you for visiting my blog, greetings to all of you who have taken the time to stop by and read my blog. I really hope for positive support from all of you🙏
