Hey, girl!
Congratulations once again on your new milestone! I couldn't be happier for you. Your 'sonshine' is truly blessed to have you as his momma! And very good job, jep-jep and nay-nay! 🤗
As a first time mom, it takes immense strength and resilience to navigate this new chapter of life, isn't it? 😄 How do other moms make it seem that they're handling it with such grace? I remember days with no shower, just wanted more sleeeep! Lol
But hey! Seeing you embrace both the ups and downs of motherhood is truly inspiring.Even though everyone may have different stories and experiences, your own journey is unique and valid.
And hey! Reading about your unexpected journey into the delivery room gave me goosebumps! I can only imagine the mix of emotions and uncertainties running through your mind during that moment. It's both daunting and awe-inspiring how life can take such unexpected turns.
The way you described stepping into the delivery room as the beginning of your delivery journey truly resonated with me. I wasn't even ready, I wanted to get a fresh mani, Pedi with no colors. But, they won't let me out anymore, so they removed my nail polish and my toenails looked like a troll's nail! Uhh haha!
But in all seriousness, this journey's a powerful image that encapsulates the transformative nature of childbirth, it doesn't matter what nature of birth it is. Once you cross that threshold, there's a sense of surrender and determination that sets in, knowing that there's no turning back. It's a testament to the strength and resilience of mothers like us who embark on this extraordinary adventure.
And, I can totally relate to what you said about the healing process being both physically and mentally draining. It's like you're on this never-ending journey of trying to get back to feeling like yourself again. And yes, the emotions can be all over the place. One minute you're relieved that your beautiful little bundle of joy is finally here, and the next, you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and a little bit like the walking dead. 😄
Girl, wishing you strength, love, and endless joy in your continued journey as a first-time mom!
Just know that I'm here for you, cheering you on and sending all the positive vibes your way all the way across the pacific! ❤️
Sending you virtual hugs and high fives for kicking butt in the face of the suckiness! We got this!
With love and laughter,
Gil
