My Girls & I #01

Hi guys, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a good time wherever you are. I'm going to be sharing with you episode with myself and my girls. I don't know how many episode it's going to be but I hope you have fun!

I have 15 girls of different age and different sizes with different characters all to myself to take care of. I am their guidance and I must say each child is so beautifully unique that comparing them would be so wrong. They can be a real pain in the ass and at the same time, the sweetest thing ever.

Every Wednesday is a sport day at school for them and I make sure to have them prepare for the next day the night before. That is after I have made sure to check them over the weekend, but I guess children will always be children.

Tonight is another night they expect me to run around searching for their uniforms when they had the whole weekends to organize themselves and prepare for the new week. While I would lost count of asking if they're done arranging their stuffs and they would tell "yes", on the day they would be needing those stuffs, it would definitely be a day full of stories and cries.

The launderer comes in every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday to do the laundry, she does the washing and spreading. All they have to do is fix them in the appropriate place and prepare for the new week.

Tonight is another episode of missing wears. The fear of not having the appropriate clothes to wear to school sets in and they start throwing tantrums. I guess the fear of the school management is strong enough to make them throw tantrums but not enough to make them prepare ahead.

I have always thought I would be the cool headed and collected type of mother when I start having kids. I had thought I would never shout nor spank a child. Ask me what I do for a living and I'll tell you I shout, pick up dirty socks, spread out their towels after they're gone, arrange the footwears in their absence, keep track of their meds and wake up every 2 hours to check up on them at night everyday and then I also go to work. Can you imagine? I guess not.

"I can't find my sport wear and I've been looking for it since Saturday, no one has seen it as well." she told me tonight. I checked the time and realized that it's past 10:00pm.
"Surely, you're not expecting me to start running about looking for your sport wear at this time of the night; right?" I asked her and she kept mute.

"Tomorrow, you'll put on your school uniform, when you get to school, explain to them why you're not putting on the school sportwear uniform" I dismissed her gently afterwards. Now, let's see if she would go back to looking for the dress or go to bed.

I think it's high time I stopped doing things for them and allowing them take charge of things themselves.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my first episode on My Girls & I. See you in my next blog.
