Hace un par de días tuve una experiencia bastante estresante con mi princesa Lucia, resulta que tuvo una caída en sus clases de danza que aunque parecía algo simple termino en una fractura de brazo y yeso, fue un día de super fuerte sin embargo gracias a Dios logramos superarlo y hoy les comparto esta experiencia! 🙏🏼✨

A couple of days ago I had a pretty stressful experience with my princess Lucia, it turns out that she had a fall in her dance classes that although it seemed something simple ended in a broken arm and cast, it was a day of super strong however thank God we managed to overcome it and today I share with you this experience! 🙏🏼✨

Les cuento un poco cómo sucedió todo, el miércoles en la tarde estaba llegando a buscar a Lucia a sus clases de Danza justo cuando estaba cerca recibí una llamada de su profesora diciendome que Lucia se habia caido y que estaba llorando mucho, que no quería contacto con nadie y que solo pedía a su mamá, se podrán imaginar mi angustia y aunque estaba a unos cuantos minutos del lugar el tiempo se me hizo eterno hasta que llegue al salon de danza, efectivamente Lucia se había caído, tropezó corriendo y cayó en peso sobre el brazo izquierdo, le habian colocado hielo y ella me decia que le dolía, sin embargo podía mover su brazo, mano y dedos entonces pensamos que el dolor solo habia sido por el impacto asi que le colocamos analgésico en gel y también le dimos en jarabe y la dejamos en observación ese día.

Al día siguiente el dolor seguía en su brazo, pero no había ni moretones, ni inflamación, solo le dolía un poco cuando empuñaba la mano o cuando trataba de sostener cosas así que por prevención llamamos a la pediatra y al explicarle nos pidió un rayos x del brazo en 2 proyecciones y salimos directo a hacerle ese estudio.

  I tell you a little about how everything happened, on Wednesday afternoon I was arriving to pick up Lucia to her dance classes just when I was close I received a call from her teacher telling me that Lucia had fallen and was crying a lot, she did not want contact with anyone and only asked for her mom, you can imagine my anguish and although I was a few minutes away from the place the time took me forever until I got to the dance room, Lucia had indeed fallen, she tripped running and fell on her left arm, they had put ice on it and she told me that it hurt, however she could move her arm, hand and fingers so we thought that the pain had only been for the impact so we put analgesic gel and also gave her syrup and we left her under observation that day.
  The next day the pain was still in his arm, but there were no bruises or swelling, it only hurt a little when he held his hand or when he tried to hold things, so we called the pediatrician for prevention and when we explained to her, she asked for an x-ray of the arm in 2 projections and we went straight to do the study.

Fuimos a una clínica llamada CC UDO, aquí nos atendieron muy amablemente, subimos al área de radiología y le hicieron sin complicaciones el Rayos X a Lucia, ella estaba algo nerviosa sin embargo se portó muy bien y muy valiente.

El radiólogo luego de hacer la placa nos dijo que la niña estaba presentando una fractura en el brazo que nos recomendaba inmovilizar de inmediato, así que llamamos a la pediatra nuevamente y está vez nos contacto con una traumatóloga quien nos esperaba otra clínica pero para ingresar por urgencias y verificar el diagnóstico que nos dió el radiólogo.

  We went to a clinic called CC UDO, here we were attended very kindly, we went up to the radiology area and they made the X-ray without complications to Lucia, she was a little nervous but behaved very well and very brave.
  The radiologist after doing the X-ray told us that the girl was presenting a fracture in the arm that he recommended us to immobilize immediately, so we called the pediatrician again and this time she contacted us with a traumatologist who was waiting for us in another clinic but to enter by emergency and verify the diagnosis that the radiologist gave us.

Llegamos a la Clínica Oriente y ya nos estaba esperando la traumatólogo, ella observo la placa del brazo y efectivamente Lucia presentaba fractura del 1/3 del radio del brazo izquierdo, nos explico que por la forma de la fractura no había que hacer tracción a su bracito pero debíamos inmovilizar con un yeso para evitar lesiones mayores y para ayudar al hueso a soldar nuevamente, también le receto analgésicos y reposo, y nos dijo que este tipo de fracturas era normal en niños y que la recuperación era rápida.

Colocarle el yeso fue algo rápido sin embargo Lucia estaba súper nerviosa pero se portó como una campeona, es muy valiente mi bebé, a pesar de que tenía dolor se quedó tranquila y colaboro en todo momento haciendo lo que le indicaba la doctora y la enfermera. Su cara cambio un poco cuando vio que no habían inyecciones y cuando la traumatóloga le dijo que podía colocarle pegatinas al yeso, después de escuchar eso fue que sonrió un poco porque estaba bastante tensa y asustada.

  We arrived at the Clínica Oriente and the traumatologist was already waiting for us, she observed the arm x-ray and indeed Lucia had a fracture of 1/3 of the radius of the left arm, she explained to us that due to the shape of the fracture we did not have to do traction to her little arm but we had to immobilize it with a cast to avoid major injuries and to help the bone to weld again, she also prescribed painkillers and rest, and told us that this type of fracture was normal in children and that the recovery was fast. 
  Placing the cast was something fast, however Lucia was super nervous but she behaved like a champion, my baby is very brave, even though she was in pain she stayed calm and cooperated at all times doing what the doctor and the nurse told her to do. Her face changed a little when she saw that there were no injections and when the traumatologist told her that she could put stickers on the cast, after hearing that she smiled a little because she was quite tense and scared.

Como padres nunca queremos pasar por ninguna situación que coloque en riesgo a nuestros pequeños, sin embargo hay situaciones que salen de nuestro control y nos no queda más que hacerle frente y tratar de superarlas de la mejor manera, gracias a Dios mi hija recibió asistencia médica a tiempo y ya está con su reposo y tratamiento, no ha presentado dolor fuerte y bueno toca seguir el reposo para que se recupere satisfactoriamente con el favor de Dios! 🙏🏼💖 Como siempre fue un placer compatir nuestras experiencias con ustedes! 💞 Gracias por leerme! 😃 Hasta muy pronto! 💫
