A blessed day

Hay regalos que alegran la vida, no solo por lo que dicen o el valor que ofrecen, sino por la sinceridad de quien los regala. Mi vida como madre siempre está llena de dibujos, regalos y cartas, pero este sin duda me trajo muchísima alegría. Mi hija es lo mejor y más hermoso que he tenido. Los tiempos cambian, pero cuando se inculcan buenos valores, se reciben excelentes recompensas.

She gave me this gift on Saturday night. On Sunday, I started collecting my coupons. So, I woke up early to lots of kisses and received another gift, which of course I liked and was surprised by. Since she wanted to make breakfast and doesn't yet have full access to the kitchen, I had to supervise her, help her turn on the stove, and be on the lookout for any unexpected events.

Me dio este regalo el sábado por la noche. El domingo empecé a recoger mis cupones. Así que me desperté temprano con muchos besos y recibí otro regalo, que por supuesto me gustó y me sorprendió. Times change, but when you instill good values, you receive excellent rewards.

Quería prepararme unos huevos revueltos, y lo hizo. Me preparó un desayuno delicioso: dos huevos revueltos, tostadas con mantequilla y un delicioso café con leche. Cuando terminó de cocinar, tuve que irme a la cama para canjear mi cupón de desayuno en la cama. Si no, me dijo que no sería válido.

She wanted to make me some scrambled eggs, and she did. She made me a delicious breakfast: two scrambled eggs, buttered toast, and a delicious latte. When she finished cooking, I had to go to bed to redeem my breakfast in bed voucher. Otherwise, she told me it wouldn't be valid.

Así que desayunamos juntos en la cama, y ella organizó la cocina y lavó los platos. Guardó todo. Fue un comienzo genial para mi domingo del Día de la Madre. So we had breakfast in bed together, and she organized the kitchen and washed the dishes. She put everything away. It was a great start to my Mother's Day Sunday. We danced, watched a few episodes of a series, listened to music, and made a few calls, mainly to my mom and her dad's mom, to wish them a Happy Mother's Day. Later, we were able to fire up the grill for some delicious meat.

Volviendo a mis cupones, creo que usaré dos cupones de desayuno en la cama este fin de semana y creo que usaré uno de los cupones de limpieza por semana, o en caso de emergencia. Me impresionaron mucho estos cupones y los voy a aprovechar al máximo. Le conté a mi mamá sobre ellos y esperaba recibir algo similar. Estoy muy agradecida por este regalo; Significa mucho para mí. El gesto es muy significativo.

Back to my vouchers, I think I'll use two breakfast in bed vouchers this weekend, and I think I'll use one of the cleaning vouchers per week, or in case of an emergency. I was really impressed with these vouchers and I'm going to make the most of them. I told my mom about them and was hoping to receive something similar. I'm so grateful for this gift; it means a lot to me. The gesture is very meaningful.
