Hola queridos #Hivers y #Motherhoord, la vida familiar genera constantemente retos que nos hacen concientizar sobre temas nunca antes explorados. Para mí el contacto con los animales que no son domésticos es muy difícil porque no estuve familiarizada con ellos hasta cierta edad. Sin embargo, adoro tener mascotas y trato de inculcarles a mis hijos el respeto que ellos se merecen. Por otro lado, mi esposo sí que tuvo mucho contacto con animalitos silvestres durante su infancia y él, cada vez que puede, los educa para que sepan comportarse al frente de las diferentes especies de animales y plantas que nos rodea .

Nuestro hogar está ubicado en una zona montañosa con mucha vegetación, lo que hace que sea un hábitat perfecto para distintas criaturas que deambulan, viven y se alimentan sin ninguna restricción. En tres oportunidades mi esposo ha conseguido perezosos arrastrándose en la carretera y él es quien pide ayuda a otra persona para subir el animalito a un árbol y evitar que alguien pueda atropellarlo. Los niños siempre se asombran y él les dice que muchas criaturas no son agresivas y que si están en peligro debemos ayudarlas.

Hemos tenido contacto con muchos otros animales y cada vez les reforzamos la información para que entiendan que no se les debe hacer daño o sí la especie es agresiva, simplemente retirarse y avisarnos inmediatamente, como es el caso de los alacranes o las serpientes.

Siempre nos visitan aves de todo tipo, desde colibrís hasta guacharacas. Insectos y arácnidos de gran variedad y en cada caso les ofrecemos información sobre cada uno para enriquecer su conocimiento. A veces, cuando el animalito ha logrado entrar en nuestra casa, mi esposo lo atrapa y se los da para que aprendan a no temerles ni dañarlos y luego los libera.

Esperamos que con esta clase de educación no formal comprendan el concepto de la empatía y así se conviertan en hombres bondadosos y considerados con toda clase de ser vivo, no sólo con otros seres humanos.

Ventajas de que nuestro pequeños se relacionen con otros seres vivos:
- Les hace sentir seguros y no sentir miedo por los animales.
- Les crea una responsabilidad hacia otro ser vivo.
- Aprenden que los animales y plantas también sienten, si se les hace daño.
- Aprenden a sentir empatía por cualquier criatura sin importar lo grande o pequeña que pueda ser.
- Los enseña a ser gentiles y nobles.
- Los enseña a ayudar a las personas necesitadas.

Por lo antes expuesto creo que educar a nuestros hijos a ser respetuosos con otros seres vivos es de suma importancia para su crecimiento y formación de adultos, generando confianza, seguridad, empatía. Educar a nuestros retoños para que sean buenos ciudadanos.

Hello dear #Hivers and #Motherhoord, family life constantly generates challenges that make us aware of issues never explored before. For me, contact with non-domestic animals is very difficult because I was not familiar with them until a certain age. However, I love having pets and I try to instill in my children the respect they deserve. On the other hand, my husband did have a lot of contact with wild animals during his childhood and he, whenever he can, educates them so that they know how to behave in front of the different species of animals and plants that surround us.

Our home is located in a mountainous area with lots of vegetation, which makes it a perfect habitat for different creatures that roam, live and feed without any restrictions. On three occasions my husband has found sloths crawling on the road and he is the one who asks someone else to help him get the animal up a tree to prevent someone from running over it. The children are always amazed and he tells them that many creatures are not aggressive and that if they are in danger we should help them.

We have had contact with many other animals and each time we reinforce the information so that they understand that they should not be harmed or if the species is aggressive, simply withdraw and notify us immediately, as in the case of scorpions or snakes.

We are always visited by birds of all kinds, from hummingbirds to guacharacas. - It teaches them to help people in need.

I believe that educating our children to be respectful with other living beings is of utmost importance for their growth and formation as adults, generating confidence, security and empathy. Educate our children to be good citizens.
