Saludos queridas madres y padres de Hive, hoy estoy muy feliz de compartir con ustedes un nuevo logro de mi hijo, en los primeros días de febrero les compartí como hijo Rafael de 7 años había hecho su primer figura hecha a crochet (amigurumi), esto fue motivo de mucha emoción y orgullo, por lo que el me pidió que comprara más estambre y le enseñará como hacer una jirafa, así que unos días después empezó lo que seguía su segundo proyecto, exactamente el día 8 de febrero comenzó haciendo la cabeza de la jirafa, (olvidé tomar fotl de cuando hizo el cuello), terminó esta parte del amigurumi en dos días es decir el día 10 , el día 11 comenzaría a hacer las primeras hilera del cuerpo de la jirafa, pero ese día se encontraba disperso y quería solo jugar con su primito Lucas, así que no lo presioné y le dije que dejara el trabajo hasta que él de nuevo sintiera ganas de seguir con el crochet.

Greetings dear mothers and fathers of Hive, today I am very happy to share with you a new achievement of my son, in the first days of February I shared with you how Rafael, 7 years old, had made his first crochet figure (amigurumi), this It was a reason for great emotion and pride, for which he asked me to buy more yarn and I will teach him how to make a giraffe, so a few days later he began what followed his second project, exactly on February 8 he began making the head of a giraffe. the giraffe, (I forgot to take a photo of when he made the neck), finished this part of the amigurumi in two days, that is, on the 10th, on the 11th he would begin to make the first rows of the giraffe's body, but that day he was scattered and He just wanted to play with his little cousin Lucas, so I didn't push him and told him to leave the job until he wanted to continue crocheting again.

Pasó lo mismo que la primera vez, Rafael dejo en la mesa casi en el olvido su proyecto por aproximadamente un mes 😅, hasta que el día 2 de marzo le dije que volviera trabajar en su proyecto, le pedí que no dejara el proyecto recibiendo polvo en la mesa por tanto tiempo, así que esta vez si lo presioné un poco, le dije que si terminaba la jirafa le daría una sorpresa, esto es algo que ya yo le tenía guardado, un pequeño juguete que se lo iba a dar sin ningún tipo de condición pero sentí que el necesitaba ese tipo de motivación además que el se había esforzado mucho en su aprendizaje, entonces el asumió el reto, se puso a hacer el cuerpo de la jirafa y lo terminó ese mismo día. Vale la pena decir, que Rafael hace el trabajo según mis instrucciones, al finalizar cada hilera yo cuento el número de puntadas con el y si cometió un error, desbarato la hilera y se la vuelvo a dar para que el repita su trabajo, es decir, yo no arreglo sus errores, el debe hacerlo y por eso algunas veces toma más tiempo de lo normal porque se equivoca varias veces, pero lo bueno es que a medida que avanza va cometiendo menos errores y también ajustando la tensión del hilo, en un principio cuando hizo la cabeza y cuello dejó las puntadas muy flojas, pero cuando hizo esta vez el cuerpo apretó lo suficiente para que las puntadas lucieran cerradas y no se vieran pequeños agujeros, es decir que Rafael mejoró mucho en la técnica, además que en el primer proyecto el uso un ganchillo de 5mm y esta vez uso unos de 3.5mm es decir es una reducción de tamaño considerable, el aún no está listo para usar una aguja de 1.25mm que es la que yo uso normalmente con hilos delgados, pero sin dudas tiene el conocimiento de la técnica y me alegra mucho ver todo lo que ha podido lograr.

The same thing happened as the first time, Rafael left his project on the table almost forgotten for about a month 😅, until on March 2 I told him to go back to work on his project, I asked him not to leave the project receiving dust on the table for so long, so this time if I pushed him a bit, I told him that if he finished the giraffe I would give him a surprise, this is something that I already had saved for him, a little toy that I was going to give him without any kind of condition but I felt that he needed that kind of motivation, besides that he had put a lot of effort into his learning, so he took on the challenge, began to make the giraffe's body and finished it that same day. It is worth saying that Rafael does the work according to my instructions, at the end of each row I count the number of stitches with him and if he made a mistake, I tear up the row and give it to him again so that he repeats his work, that is , I don't fix his mistakes, he has to do it and that's why sometimes it takes longer than normal because he makes mistakes several times, but the good thing is that as he progresses he makes fewer mistakes and also adjusts the thread tension, in a At first, when he made the head and neck, he left the stitches very loose, but when he did the body this time, he tightened enough so that the stitches looked closed and small holes were not visible, meaning that Rafael improved a lot in technique, as well as in the First project I use a 5mm hook and this time I use a 3.5mm one, that is, it is a considerable reduction in size, he is not yet ready to use a 1.25mm needle, which is what I normally use with thin threads, but without doubts you have He has the knowledge of the technique and I am very happy to see all that he has been able to achieve.

Por otro lado al día siguiente 3 de marzo Rafael hizo las cuatro patas de la jirafa y también sus dos orejas, dejó el trabajo en suspenso porque al día siguiente fue con mi mamá @yole a visitar a mi abuelo y mis tías.

Es así como el día de anteayer 5 de marzo Rafael se levantó temprano y después de desayunar se enfocó en hacer las manchas de la jirafa, la cola, los cuernos y el hocico. Después de que él cumpliera con su trabajo yo me encargué de coser las partes y de bordar los ojos, también le pinté las mejillas con tiza paste, Rafael me dijo que quería que la jirafa fuese niña porque el anterior osito era un niño.

This is how the day before yesterday, March 5, Rafael got up early and after breakfast he focused on making the spots on the giraffe, the tail, the horns and the snout.
