Al ir por primera vez a la consulta oftalmológica Manuel de una manera muy rápida acepto que tenia un problema en su vista y al momento de colocarle cristales de prueba en una montura especial que tiene el oftalmólogo se sintió muy cómodo por la visión que tenía a partir de ese momento, con tan solo 6 años Manuel se le encontró una Miopía de Valores muy grandes en sus ojos, en el Ojo derecho -3.5 y en el Izquierdo -4,0 que es bastante para un niño de su edad nos comentó y aunado a esto se le encontró astigmatismo del Ojo derecho 2,75 y en el Izquierdo 3,00, definitivamente nos explicó que necesitaba lentes de manera urgente

Luego de que nuestro Manuel Alejandro se definió cual eran las medidas y eje de sus anteojos, tuvimos que asistir a la óptica que estaba allí mismo en las instalaciones donde estaba siendo examinado Manuel y miren como fue a continuación el momento en que Manuel, Mama y Papa escogimos sus primeros lentes. Las imágenes son elocuentes cual le gusto más. Fue algo bien anecdótico porque pensé como madre que no se adaptaría, pero Manuel con una personalidad que siempre le ha caracterizado los escogió gracias a nuestro apoyo.

1. Solo un oftalmólogo es el indicado para realizar el diagnóstico preciso de algún padecimiento en los ojos. Es la única persona capaz de detectar defectos visuales que se resuelven con el uso de lentes.
2. En del uso de lentes tiene que ser constante y el niño debe acostumbrarse a utilizarlos todo el día, para hacerlo parte de su rutina.
3. Cada seis meses, o más tardar al siguiente año, se debe realizar un nuevo examen, para saber si el menor requiere algún ajuste en la graduación de sus anteojos.
