Saludos queridos amigos que hacen vida en Hive, el día de hoy compartiré con ustedes una visita de mis hijos junto con otros niños al Museo del Mar, en la Ciudad de Cumaná, Estado Sucre.
Greetings dear friends who make life in Hive, today I will share with you a visit of my children along with other children to the Museo del Mar, in the city of Cumaná, Sucre State.
Bonito e interesante Museo del Mar – Un poco de su historia / Beautiful and interesting Museum of the Sea - A little bit of its history
El Museo del Mar en Sucre nace formalmente el 12 de octubre de 1984. Esto luego de unos trabajos de investigadores del Instituto Oceanográfico de Venezuela.
The Museum of the Sea in Sucre was formally established on October 12, 1984. This after the work of researchers from the Oceanographic Institute of Venezuela.
El lugar se ubicaba en el antiguo aeropuerto de Cumaná, cerró sus puertas en 1997, luego de 13 años mostrándole a sus visitantes las bellezas del mar, daños en la infraestructura fue el motivo de cierre.
The place was located in the old airport of Cumaná, it closed its doors in 1997, after 13 years showing its visitors the beauties of the sea, damage to the infrastructure was the reason for its closure.
Más adelante, específicamente en el 2005, sus fundadores, el Prof. José Luis Naveira y el Dr. Julio Eduardo Pérez, tras un enlace con quién en ese momento fuese rector de la Universidad de Oriente, el Dr. Pedro Mago, reactivaron y reubicaron el Museo del Mar en el Complejo Cultural Luis Manuel Peñalver, pasando entonces a ser una dependencia de la Universidad de Oriente (UDO).
Later, specifically in 2005, its founders, Prof. José Luis Naveira and Dr. Julio Eduardo Pérez, after a liaison with the then rector of the Universidad de Oriente, Dr. Pedro Mago, reactivated and relocated the Museum of the Sea to the Luis Manuel Peñalver Cultural Complex, which then became a dependency of the Universidad de Oriente (UDO).
En la actualidad tienen como principal pilar la sensibilización de sus visitantes a la conservación y protección del ambiente en general, con foco importante en el hábitat marina, además de fomentar la actividad turística del estado Sucre.
Currently, their main pillar is to raise awareness among visitors about the conservation and protection of the environment in general, with an important focus on the marine habitat, in addition to promoting tourism in the state of Sucre.
Este museo posee una colección de más de mil piezas entre fosilizadas, esqueletos y conservadas en formol. Además cuenta con un pequeño acuario y hasta un submarino amarillo propiedad de Marcos Pérez Jiménez (presidente de Venezuela en la década del 50) en el que cuentan los guías se subió Gina Lollobrigida con el dictador. Los trabajan allí se empeñan en que el lugar este bonito, arreglado y resulte un atractivo muy interesante para conocer de las profundidades del mar.
This museum has a collection of more than a thousand fossilized and skeletonized pieces preserved in formaldehyde. It also has a small aquarium and even a yellow submarine owned by Marcos Perez Jimenez (president of Venezuela in the 50's) in which, according to the guides, Gina Lollobrigida got on with the dictator. The people who work there make sure that the place is beautiful, arranged and is a very interesting attraction to learn about the depths of the sea.
La exhibición empieza con un recorrido por las diferentes áreas del mundo marino, entre las que destacan: reptiles, mamíferos marinos, osamentas de ballenas y peces; además de poder conocer sobre una gran variedad de invertebrados marinos en la Sala de Moluscos, la Sala de Corales, equinodermos, crustáceos y la exposición del Celacanto como pieza principal del museo por ser un fósil viviente.
The exhibition begins with a tour of the different areas of the marine world, among which are: reptiles, marine mammals, whale and fish bones, as well as a great variety of marine invertebrates in the Hall of Mollusks, the Hall of Corals, echinoderms, crustaceans and the exhibition of the Coelacanth as the main piece of the museum for being a living fossil.
Este museo hoy se convierte en uno de los iconos históricos y turísticos con los que cuenta la primogénita del continente americano en sus más de cinco siglos de historia.
This museum has become one of the historical and tourist icons of the first-born of the American continent in its more than five centuries of history.
Este museo permanece abierto con sus actividades diarias permanentes de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 de la mañana a 12:00 del mediodía, en las que reciben al público en general y a grupos organizados de escuelas e instituciones interesadas en conocer el mundo marino que ofrecen Cumaná y su litoral.
This museum remains open with its permanent daily activities from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, welcoming the general public and organized groups of schools and institutions interested in learning about the marine world offered by Cumana and its coastline.

¡Wao! Casi que sentía que estaba allí 😍 que bonita experiencia, me gustó mucho el lugar provoca ir, de verdad que es bastante interesante para que los niños aprendan del mar.
Si amiga realmente es un lugar súper agradable. Uno se siente sumergido en el mar. Además que existen guías que le van explicando a los visitantes cada uno de los espacios del museo. Realmente una bonita experiencia.
Saludos mamita, debes colocar las fuentes de los textos consultados. Por otra parte sería ideal que en el texto hablaras de la experiencia de tus hijos en el museo, ya que como dijimos, necesitas fuentes de donde obtuviste la información referente al museo.
