Hello friends
How are you all
Hopefully we can all pass each day well and healthy
In this new year, although the storm of covid 19 has not disappeared, hopefully we can be more enthusiastic and healthier than the previous year.
In january, I'm in my 8 months of pregnancy.
It really feel like time has passed so quickly. It's just another month for me and my family to be able to meet my little baby girl we've been waiting for.
When I did a pregnancy check to the obstetrician, the doctor said my baby was healthy. I am very grateful. However, when the fetal weight was measured, my baby was growing too fast, lol. Within 3 weeks, his weight increased by 1 kg, which is already more than the normal weight limit for a fetus her age. I was quite worried, but the doctor told me not to worry too much. The doctor told me to control the food I eat and not to eat too much sweet food. It's true, for 1 month before I did the test, I consumed a lot of chocolate, be it food or drink, because my blood sugar level was too low which caused me to have frequent headaches. I need high-sugar foods to get back to normal. But it actually causes the weight of my fetus to increase rapidly.
But behind all that, I'm grateful for what is. I'm so grateful that my baby is healthy. She is very active and already in her birth canal position. I've started to get tired often and feel achy, but I go through everything with gratitude.
In the eighth month of pregnancy, pregnant women must often exercise. Especially walking in the morning. The effect is extraordinary. In addition to facilitating the delivery process later, the body also feels more fit. I was advised to often do small activities that are not excessive. Doing exercise for pregnant women that I saw in the video on the online application is also very helpful. But for those of you who want to find videos about pregnancy health, I suggest watching videos made by doctors. There are so many videos circulating, but in my opinion, if the video advice comes directly from a doctor, it means that it is safe. Do not immediately follow the videos that are spread by other people. It's best to watch it first and discuss it with your gynecologist.
It is highly recommended to maintain body condition, stamina must be maintained so as not to get sick easily. Consumption of foods and drinks that have vitamins that are good for the body. I was advised to drink honey regularly to maintain stamina when it was time for labor.
And most importantly, keep your mindset. There's no point in dwelling on negative things that aren't necessarily going to happen. Overthinking is very detrimental to yourself, including the fetus. Pregnant women must strengthen themselves not to be too afraid of things that haven't happened yet. The family also has an important role to play in maintaining a mentally healthy environment. Support from the closest people is very helpful. Ask for a massage and light touch from your partner if you feel too tired and sore. Do not force the activity if you are tired. At this time of pregnancy, focus on the health and safety of the mother and fetus. So that everything goes smoothly as expected, the mother and fetus can both be in good health.
That's the story from me this time, friends. I hope to be able to write again soon and share interesting stories for you all.
Thank you friends for reading my story. And thanks for all the support.
