Hola, amigos de Hive. ¿Cómo se preparan para recibir la Navidad? Espero que llenos de alegría y fe por todo lo que está por venir; hoy quiero mostrarles unas fotos de nuestro primer evento navideño. Un día en familia que compartí con mis hijos y sobrinos.
Una de las cosas buenas que trae la Navidad es el compartir, reunirse para agradecer por todo lo vivido durante el año, aunque no todo haya sido bueno. En esta ocasión nos invitaron a una cena navideña en la iglesia a la que mi cuñada asiste. Esta es la segunda vez que asistimos; aunque no formamos parte de la iglesia, acompañamos a mi cuñada y otros miembros amigos.
Fue una excelente oportunidad para que mi hijo pasara una noche diferente; se divirtió mucho jugando y corriendo con los otros niños, incluso cantó una canción, Navidad, Navidad, ya saben, parece que las ocasiones para disfrutar del canto lo persiguen, algo que es muy positivo.
Disfrutamos de una deliciosa cena navideña, al estilo de Venezuela: Hallaca, ensalada y el respectivo pancito de bolita que no puede faltar en los banquetes. ¿Delicioso? Sí, y bastante, pero mi hijo todavía se rehúsa a probar la hallaca, ni siquiera lo intenta. El postre estaba muy rico también.
Los niños recibieron un cotillón de golosinas, estaban felices; ellos fueron los protagonistas de la noche, disfrutaron de una obra de teatro de linda música y de jugar sanamente.
También fue un momento para compartir con su abuela, que desde que ellos se mudaron ya no comparten tanto como antes. La noche fue perfecta y con ella dimos inicio a la Navidad.
Espero que mañana pasen una noche maravillosa, en gratitud y paz; disfruten a las personas que tengan a su alrededor, Sé que extrañaremos a muchas personas, pero tomemos un minuto para enviarles a ellas nuestros mejores deseos y, por supuesto, no olvidemos mirar al cielo y agradecer por la vida de quienes se marcharon antes.
Y a todos los que tenemos la tarea de ser Santa este año. ¡Mucha suerte, lo lograremos!
Hello, friends of Hive. How are you preparing for Christmas? I hope you are filled with joy and faith for all that is to come. Today I want to show you some photos of our first Christmas event. A family day that I shared with my children and nephews.
One of the good things about Christmas is sharing, getting together to give thanks for everything we have experienced during the year, even if not everything has been good. On this occasion, we were invited to a Christmas dinner at the church my sister-in-law attends. This is the second time we have attended; although we are not part of the church, we accompanied my sister-in-law and other members who are friends.
It was an excellent opportunity for my son to have a different kind of evening; he had a lot of fun playing and running around with the other children, he even sang a song, Navidad, Navidad, you know, it seems that opportunities to enjoy singing follow him around, which is a very positive thing.
We enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner, Venezuelan style: Hallaca, salad, and the traditional bread rolls that are a must at banquets. Delicious? Yes, very much so, but my son still refuses to try hallaca, he won't even give it a try. The dessert was also very tasty.
The children received a bag of sweets and were delighted; they were the stars of the evening, enjoying a play with beautiful music and wholesome games.
It was also a time to spend with his grandmother, whom they don't see as much as they used to since they moved away. The evening was perfect, and with it, we kicked off the Christmas season.
I hope you have a wonderful evening tomorrow, filled with gratitude and peace. Enjoy the people around you. I know we will miss many people, but let's take a minute to send them our best wishes and, of course, let's not forget to look up at the sky and give thanks for the lives of those who have gone before us.
And to all of us who have the task of being Santa this year, good luck, we can do it!

Que bien que la hayas pasado excelente junto a tu hijo en esa primera cena navideña, por la sonrisa de tu hijo la paso genial.
