My son's Christmas Eve // La Nochebuena de mi hijo

The excitement of children at Christmas is indescribable; they eagerly await the arrival of Christmas Eve and the gifts that come with it. For my son Angel, this is his sixth Christmas, and he prepared his letter to Santa Claus well in advance. This time, dinosaurs were the stars of the show because, in addition to soccer, the Jurassic world is another of his passions.

Finding the perfect gift was no easy task. Behind it all were nights spent working on the computer and some extra sacrifices, but it was all worth it to see him happy and surprised on Christmas Eve, believing in the magic and enjoying all the good things about this season, especially spending time with family.

After our family Christmas dinner and the family hug at midnight, Angel prepared a cup of cookies and a glass of water, this time near the tree, in case Santa came, while he, his dad, and my nephew took a walk around the neighborhood.

When they returned, they found the empty plate with a few cookie crumbs and the half-drunk glass of water; it seems that Santa was in a hurry, and how could he not be if he travels around the world in one night ?

The children were happy, and I loved my son's reaction to his gifts, which you can see in the video. He is a very grateful child who enjoys and takes care of his toys; he was happy with his dinosaurs and some extra surprises that also arrived.

Without a doubt, seeing my child happy is the best part of my Christmas; if he is well, so are we. We haven't gone out much this Christmas, but I hope to take him for a walk this week.

Now all that's left is to say goodbye to the year, and I sincerely hope that you end this year embracing your children and loved ones, that every child smiles every day and feels loved and happy. May every father and mother achieve their goals and be in good health so that they can continue to fill their children with love and education, and may prosperity and peace reign in every home. La emoción de los niños en Navidad es indescriptible; ellos esperan con ansias la llegada de la Nochebuena y los regalitos que vienen con ella. Para Angel mi hijo, esta es su sexta Navidad y él preparó con tiempo su carta a Santa Claus; en esta ocasión los dinosaurios fueron los protagonistas y es que, además del futbol, el mundo jurásico es otra de sus pasiones.

Encontrar el regalo perfecto no fue tarea fácil; detrás de ellos, hay noches de trabajo frente a la computadora y algunos sacrificios extras, y todos valieron la pena al verlo feliz y sorprendido la noche de Navidad, creyendo en su magia y disfrutando de todo lo bueno de esta temporada, especialmente el compartir en familia.

Después de nuestra cena navideña familiar y de darnos el abrazo familiar a las doce de la noche, Angel preparó una taza de galletas y un vaso de agua, esta vez cerca del árbol, por si llegaba Santa, mientras él, su papá y mi sobrino daban un paseo por la urbanización.

Al regresar, encontraron la taza vacía con algunas migajas de galletas y el vaso de agua a medio tomar; parece que Santa estaba apurado, y cómo no estarlo si recorre todo el mundo en una noche.

Los niños estaban felices y amé la reacción de mi niño con sus regalos, los cuales pueden ver en el video. Él es un niño muy agradecido que disfruta y cuida sus juguetes; estaba feliz con sus dinosaurios y con algunas sorpresas extras que llegaron también.

Sin duda, ver a mi niño feliz es lo mejor de mi Navidad; si él está bien, nosotros también. Esta Navidad no hemos salido mucho, pero espero poder llevarlo a pasear esta semana.

Ahora solo queda despedir el año y deseo de corazón que culminen este año abrazados de sus hijos y seres queridos, que cada niño sonría diariamente y se sienta amado y feliz. Que cada padre y madre logre sus objetivos y esté lleno de salud para que continúen llenando de amor y educación a sus hijos y que en cada hogar reine la prosperidad y la paz.
