I was a first time mother and my breasts did not let milk out even though they were full, when they talk about how positive breastfeeding is they never talk about how painful it is at the beginning, that process for the baby to break the nipple by sucking is very painful, it literally has to break it so that the milk can come out and it hurts a lot during and after until it heals; not to mention when the baby rashes while drinking that gas enters and the breast becomes inflamed and the pain and fever is horrible, thank God with the sucking of the baby little by little it heals, but it is very, very painful, .... . However, I refused to remove it because it kept her very healthy and beautiful unfortunately when she was 5 to 6 months old the second dose of the polio vaccine was contaminated to break the cold chain which produced the guillain barré syndrome this syndrome creates a flaccid paralysis that leaves her similar to a rag doll, It was a hard fight, we lasted a month with her in the University Hospital of CARACAS, then the rehabilitation, thanks to God, today she is an active and healthy girl. The truth is that during this internal time she only drank breast milk, she reached a point where she was crying, but her voice could not be heard, she was suffocating, they were going to intubate her and miraculously we got the immunoglobulin, she did not react to the first dose but in the second dose she began to regain her strength. Thanks to the fact that she was breastfeeding she remained strong and I was able to recover faster. Since it was the only thing she ate....

<Tengo dos maravillosas, Gianna de 4 años y Hannah de 7 meses de edad, la verdad es que cuando tuve a Gianna la experiencia fue mucho más fuerte. Era madre primeriza y mis senos no votaban leche a pesar de estar llenos, cuando te hablan de lo positiva que es la lactancia jamás te hablan de lo dolorosa que es al principio, ese proceso para que el bebe rompa el pezón succionando es muy doloroso literalmente tiene que romperlo para que comience a salir la leche y si duele muchísimo durante y después hasta que se sana; sin contar cuando el bb hace erupción mientras toma ese gas entra y el seno se inflama y el dolor y la fiebre es horrible gracias a Dios con la succión del bb poco a poco sana, pero es muuuuy doloroso , .. Sin embargo, me rehusaba a quitarsela porque la mantenia muy sana y hermosa lamentablemente al cumplir de 5 para 6 meses de edad la segunda dosis de la vacuna de polio se contamino a el romper la cadena de frío la cual le produjo el síndrome de guillain barré este síndrome le crea una parálisis flácida que la deja similar a una muñeca de trapo, ya que pierde el tono muscular y va paralizando sus órganos fue una lucha fuerte duramos un mes con ellaen el Hospital Universitario de CARACAS, luego la rehabilitación gracias a Dios hoy en día es una niña activa y sana. Lo cierto es que durante ese tiempo interna solo tomaba leche materna, llego a un punto en el que lloraba, pero no se oia su voz, se asfixiaba iban a entubarla y milagrosamente conseguimos la inmunoglobulina no reacciono a la primera dosis pero en la segundo comenzó a volver su fuerza .. Gracias a que lactaba se mantuvo fuerte y pude recuperarse más rápido. Ya que era lo único que comía ...

Gianna was breastfed for 2 years, the process of weaning her is also very hard, in fact they get aggressive, irritated, not easy to control, not to mention that the breasts fill up to the point that they seem to explode, they become balls and expressing that milk hurts a lot. Still, I believe that the best thing you can give your children as protection, the superhero of their lives, is breast milk. Both my daughters are big, healthy and strong. Because they had it.

<El año pasado nació nuestra pequeña Hannah y hasta el día de hoy sigo firme en que la lactancia es dolorosa, agotadora, pero muy importante para su sistema inmune. Gianna recibió 2 años de lactancia, el proceso para quitársela también es muy duro de echo se ponen agresivos, irritados, nada fácil de controlar, sin mencionar que los senos se llenan hasta el punto que parece explotar, se hacen pelotas y extraer esa leche duele muchísimo. Aun así considero que lo mejor que le puedes dar a tus hijos como protección, la superheroína de sus vidas es la leche materna. Mis dos hijas están grandes, sanas y fuertes. Gracias a que contaron con ella
