Laughter and Love At The Playground

Hello beautiful people! It feels like forever since I last posted my blog. Anyways, I am now feeling recharged to give you an update 😅.
How was your weekend?
How do you usually spend your weekends?

My weekend will always be a time for my son to have a playtime. No matter how busy on the weekdays, my husband and I always make sure to have a little playtime with our son, Kurt Liam.

For parents like us, the playground will always be our favorite spot. HAHA

Play Planet Playground

Since the Children's Playground at the Bogo City Plaza is still under renovation during that time. We opted to try the newly opened indoor playground here in our city.

Play Planet Playground is the first airconditioned indoor playground in the City of Bogo that is located in the 2nd floor of Bogo Centrum Building. They have pretend play costumes and toys that are available for use.

Watching him climb and slide going down with such determination reminded me of how quickly he’s growing up. Each small victory on the climbing wall was met with cheers and high-fives.

I must admit that one of the advantages of playing in an indoor playground is that the kids will really enjoy playing without being disturbed, rain or shine.

On the other hand, their entrance fee is 200 per hour in order to play inside. Just wear socks together with one (1) guardian and you're good to go and let your child enjoy with lots of toys.

Children's Playground at the Bogo City Plaza

Last June 16,2024 was the Charter Day of the City of Bogo at the same time opening of the Children's Playground.

The playground's grand opening was a total blast! Kids and adults alike couldn't contain their excitement. It's like a dream come true for the little ones, and we parents are loving every squeal of joy.

Its vibrant playground equipment
and open green spaces made it the perfect spot for our day. The playground then filled with the sounds of laughter and excitement of children.

As we arrived in the newly opened playground, my son’s eyes widened with delight at the sight of his favorite slides and swings.

Liam started playing with the slides, adventure with the swings, and the never ending running 😅.

When we played the swing, my son’s giggle and laughter was contagious as I soared him through the air and I found myself joining in the fun, pushing him higher and higher.

The Joy of Simple Pleasures

At the heart of every playground is a sense of unfiltered joy. But it's not just children who find happiness here. Parents and caregivers often join in, pushing swings or simply watching with smiles as their little ones are playing around.

The playground is more than just a place for children to spend their boundless energy; it’s a sanctuary where memories and simplest of joys are made. I think that is something magical when you are at the playground.

The Importance of Playing

Playgrounds are also places where relationships blossom. As children interact, they will learn the fundamentals of friendship.Like a simple adventure on the swings with other kids. This simple gesture can turn strangers into friends and turned into a cherished memory.

It teaches children about resilience as they tackle new challenges, about trust as they depend on others during play, and about joy in the little things. These lessons are crucial, building a foundation for the emotional and social skills they will carry into adulthood.

Moreover, the playground symbolizes a broader sense of community. It’s a place where differences are set aside, and the universal language of play unites people from various backgrounds. The laughter of children and the camaraderie of adults reflect a shared humanity that transcends everyday divides.

While I enjoy seeing my child playing, there are also parents wants to start a conversation with me. Sharing experiences of parenting, exchanging of advices and stories about our child.

In our fast-paced world, playgrounds is a reminder of the importance of slowing down and savoring the simple joys of life, the connection where laughter and love. Creating a space where everyone, regardless of age, can find happiness in the moment.

Everytime we go to the playground
I can't help but take a moment to appreciate the simple joys we made. Whether you're swinging, sliding, or simply watching, remember that it’s a place where laughter and love reminding us all of the beauty during our childhood days.

Reflections

Throughout the day, I couldn’t help but I feel amazed at how much my son has grown. Seeing his confidence and eagerness to adapt his environment was evident as he explored the playground equipment with ease and excitement. This makes me emotional everytime I see his improvements.

Exposing him everyday with many kids was a great help for him to develop his socialization skills. Despite being diagnosed with autism does not stop him to connect and play with others, and I couldn't be prouder.
I know everything will be alright. In God's perfect time 🙂

It may be indoor or outdoor playground, it was more than just a fun activity—it was a chance to connect and create memories that our child will forever cherish .

It was a reminder of the importance of these simple, yet profound, moments we share. I realized that these kind of bonding are not just about having fun but also about strengthening and creating a foundation of shared experiences.

While going home, my son was already talking about when we were going back to the playground, and I couldn’t agree more.

Simple days like these are a reminder that simple joy and the value of spending quality time with our family and loved ones happen every day, even on normal days.
