What makes a mother happy?
Being a mother of three is an amazing experience. But it is also very challenging. It's exhausting at times, we have to wake up early in the morning, work all day long, and then pick up the kids from school. We don't get enough sleep and we hardly have time left to do anything else, including taking care of our looks. What's more, we are always worried about our children, especially when it comes to health.
But there is no reason to be sad, because there are so many things that can make you happy when you are a mom.
I don't have to worry about money anymore. I no longer have to worry about my child's future, about the time I'm not with him and all the things I would need to do in order to provide for his safety and wellbeing. I don't have to worry about who will take care of him when I can't.
Shit, it's all working.
I'm free now, free of tremendous pressure that has been weighing on me since the day my son was born.
I don't have to be the breadwinner anymore.
I don't have to be the one who is always 'in charge' anymore.
I don't have to be the hardworking one anymore.
I am, finally, a mother.
