Привіт! Асканія-Нова — це відомий заповідник на Херсонщині, а ще він став першим в Україні серед степових природоохоронних територій. Монета введена в обіг 20 травня.
Виріб важить 31.1 г й має діаметр 38.6 мм. Для допису “Срібна монета: Асканія-Нова, срібло, 1998 рік, номінал 10 гривень. Серія “Флора і фауна”” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Тираж монети складає 10 тисяч штук. Виріб має рифлений гурт.
Реверс. Центральну частину займає символічне зображення, що складається з акліматизованих представників флори та кам'яної баби. В нижній частині нанесено напис 100 років, а угорі — назва природоохоронної території.
Лицьова сторона. Напис Україна, рік карбування та Герб розташовані угорі. Внизу нанесено номінал, назву дорогоцінного металу та пробу з вагою. А в центрі художники зобразили степ з деякими представниками тваринного та рослинного світу.

Greetings! Askania-Nova is a well-known reserve in the Kherson region, and it also became the first in Ukraine among the steppe nature conservation areas. The coin was put into circulation on May 20.
The product weighs 31.1 g and has a diameter of 38.6 mm. For the post "Silver coin: Askania-Nova, silver, 1998, denomination 10 hryvnias. The series "Flora and Fauna"" used two photos from the official website of the National Bank Ukraine. The mintage of the coin is 10,000 pieces. The product has a ribbed band.
Reverse. The central part is occupied by a symbolic image consisting of acclimatized representatives of the flora and a stone woman. In the lower part there is an inscription of 100 years, and at the top - the name of the nature conservation area.
Front side. The inscription Ukraine, the year of minting and the coat of arms are located at the top. At the bottom, the denomination, the name of the precious metal and the sample with weight are applied. And in the center, the artists depicted the steppe with some representatives of the animal and plant world.
