Привіт! Монета Острів Хортиця присвячена острову, що тривалий час був осередком козаків. Нині це унікальний природний комплекс, де розташований відомий на всю країну заповідник. Монета номіналом 50 гривень введена в обіг 20 грудня.
Вага монети складає 0.5 кг, а розмір — 85 мм. Для допису “Острів Хортиця на Дніпрі - колиска українського козацтва, срібна монета із серії “Українська спадщина”, номінал 50 гривень, 2010 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Загалом введено в обіг всього 1500 монет. Виріб має гладкий гурт.
Реверс. На реверсі зображено козака, що вдаряє у литаври. Вище зображено сам острів, а над ним — назву монети. Поруч з козаком викарбувано рядки з твору Тараса Шевченка.
Аверс. На лицьовій стороні зображено Запорізьку Січ, нижче — бандуру (в позолоті). Назва регулятора та Герб розташовані у верхній частині. Внизу нанесено рік карбування (справа), а зліва — номінал.
