Привіт! Прісноводний краб — це червонокнижний представник України. Та й зустріти цю рідкісну істоту, що вибирає чисті річки з нешвидкою течією можна лише в Криму. Також ці ракоподібні зустрічаються в Болгарії, на Кавказі. Краби прісноводні є напів-наземними. Монета присвячена цьому представнику тваринного світу введена в обіг 2 серпня.
Її вага складає 31.1 г, а діаметр — 38.6 мм. Гурт рифлений. Для допису “Монета зі срібла Краб прісноводний: серія монет “Флора і фауна”, номінал 10 гривень, 2000 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Всього виготовлено 5 тисяч монет.
Реверс. На реверсі зображений краб під водою. Поруч з ним можна побачити бульбашки та кілька водоростів. Назва вказана угорі, а внизу вона дублюється латиницею.
Аверс. Угорі нанесено Герб України. По колу — вінок з представників рослинного й тваринного світу. Внизу зображено лого МД, вище — рік карбування, номінал та напис Україна. Зліва та справа від номіналу нанесено вагу металу та його позначку.
