My Town In 10 Pictures 🔱| ZAPORIZHIA FOUNTAIN OF LIFE... ЗАПОРІЗЬКИЙ ФОНТАН ЖИТТЯ

Сьогодні я вирішила взяти участь в конкурсі
"Моє місто в 10 фотографіях"...

І перший пост я присвячую нашому знаменитому фонтану, який знаходиться на площі Маяковського.
Він був споруджений на честь ліквідаторів Чорнобильської катастрофи...
А як ми знаємо, 26 квітня була річниця аварії на Чорнобильській АЕС...
До речі, ми з чоловіком дивилися відео, в якому розповідалося, що вибух в четвертому блоці стався не просто так, а тому, що там проводили експеримент, який вийшов з-під контролю...(((

Але повернемося до ФОНТАНУ ЖИТТЯ!

Фонтан - це місце улюбленого відпочинку запоріжців і молодих, і не дуже...

Навіть молодь, приїжджавши з інших міст, зупиняються тут, щоб помилуватися нашим чудовим фонтаном.

Знайомтесь: це - наш "ФОНТАН ЖИТТЯ"!!!

Фотографії, правда, я робила восени, тому вони не такі яскраві, як хотілося б...)))

Величезні гранітні вісім статуй, що оточують фонтан, розповідають про історію українського народу, починаючи з дуже давніх часів.
І якби не інтернет, я б і не знала, що означає кожна із фігур!

Я знайшла запорізький сайт, на якому все чітко описано.

Та ось тільки яка з фігур підходить під описання, правду кажучи, не маю ніякого уявлення!(((

Але тут є такий перелік композицій фонтану: Чорнобиль, Козак Мамай, Чумаки, Берегиня, Скіфи, Мисливець, Кам'яні могили та Степ...

Today I decided to take part in the competition
"My city in 10 photos" ...

And the first post I dedicate to our famous fountain, which is located on Mayakovsky Square.
It was built in honor of the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster ...
And as we know, April 26 was the anniversary of the Chernobyl accident ...
By the way, my husband and I watched a video in which it was said that the explosion in the fourth block happened not just like that, but because they were conducting an experiment there that got out of control ...

But back to the FOUNTAIN OF LIFE!

The fountain is a place of favorite rest of Zaporozhians and young people, and not so ...

Even young people, coming from other cities, stop here to admire our beautiful fountain.

Meet: this is our "FOUNTAIN OF LIFE" !!!

Photos, however, I took in the fall, so they are not as bright as I would like ...)))

Huge granite eight statues surrounding the fountain tell the story of the Ukrainian people since ancient times.
And if it weren't for the Internet, I wouldn't know what each of the figures means!

I found a Zaporozhye site where everything is clearly described.

But just which of the figures fits the description, to tell the truth, I have no idea! (((
