a webcomic, by Matt S. Law

It also explains why Phantom Lady was kicking and convulsing like crazy when Miss Victory was "pulling out the arrow." Really, taking the arrow out was super easy--barely an inconvenience. If you go back you can see that it's not even barbed.
I didn't do that great a job drawing Phantom Lady's hand position here. Her right elbow should probably have been in front of the gun. Also, she is saying OW because as I was putting my arms behind my back and trying to figure out how to shoot from that position, I think it would be really hard to not get hit by the slide in the ribs or elbow.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I tried and tried to have Grok animate this panel, but the content moderation guidelines refuse to allow me to have someone get shot in the head.... even if the bullets "deflect off her super strong stone skull." So I found another free Image to Video AI site with much looser restrictions. It is free, but they use a credit system to spend on your videos, so I can't just make a dozen attempts and use the one that works best. Or is funniest. So the video bit at the end is courtesy of a site called A2E. I'll probably use that one the next time the panel has nudity, so I'd best start saving up some daily credits.
Oh, also the default A2E video doesn't generate its own audio, so I just extended my own homemade audio track to the end.

It was a good shot from that position even if it can't do much good.
peakd has 'AI' image generation, but I'm not sure it can do animation and I haven't used it. I think you pay with crypto.
