Hey, man. I had to get this out before the Invincible post, but I'm moving the other one up for next week so that we can discuss that 😃
I definitely feel you, man. I totally get how a lot of people can be turned off by the earlier episodes. Heck, even Vision's final fight (spoilers) is a bit too anti-climactic.
The series itself is heavy on dealing with grief and not a lot of action. But, it does deviate from the normal MCU movie in that regard.
I think WandaVision isn't an "essential" watch in terms of getting caught up with the MCU storyline, but it does open up the door for The Marvels (Captain Marvel 2), Secret Invasion (the Nick Fury-centered series), Armor Wars (potentially?) and Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.
It's all good man, I bet getting it's epicness is hard af. lol
Ok, that does make me want to give it another try eventually. And hopefully we'll finally get the origin story of that cat in the Nick Fury-centered serie
I think Secret Invasion is set in the present though, but there's not a lot of info yet. I don't want to give away anything from the original comic book story, but if done right, it could lead to some epic twists!
Nice! Yes, you shouldn't spoil. When is out?
I don't think there are any announcements yet. But, since the slots have already been filled for 2021, I think you can expect this either 2022 or 2023.
