She said to him:
"Shout to the world that you love me,
let the wind hear your voice,
let every corner proclaim
our love, like the sun at dawn".
He whispered in her ear:
"I love you, sweet life,
as the river loves the shore
and the moon embraces the night,
I always carry you in my bosom."
She asked him:
"Why do you say it so softly and in my ear?
Don't you feel the fire
that burns in every heartbeat
when you look at me, when you touch me?"
He answered her, with a sincere look:
"Because in the whisper there is depth,
in the murmur there is tenderness,
and in every word that escapes
there is a universe that only you and I know."
"Big words scream,
but the soft ones envelop us,
they are like the echo of the eternal,
a secret between two hearts
who know that love needs no loudspeakers."
She smiled, understanding,
that their love was a beautiful garden,
where every leaf, every dewdrop
whispered its song,
without needing the world to hear it.
