“I’m Going To Have A Shower But Not Wash My Hair,” Informs Wife

Devoted wife and mother of none Rachel Carpenter has updated her husband Ian Carpenter of her plans to ‘jump in for a quick shower’, probaly in the next ten minutes, having previously laid out a scheme to have a big bath, shave her legs, put on a lotion, basicly, the works.

Ian, who admits he did not ask his wife what she intended to do, but nevertheless was treated to the following updates on the subject:

6:30pm. Rachel arrives home from a long day at work and asks Ian to ‘switch on the boost button of the hot water boiler’, as her day at work has tired her out and she wants to unwind by having a long and relaxing soak in the bath.

Eyeing an opportunity to play PlayStation all evening, husband Ian agrees that this sounds like a very good plan.

7:30pm. Having sat on her phone for a full hour after dinner, Rachel downgrades the plan to have a long soak in the bath into a simpler, quicker ‘shower’ option.

8:30pm. Sensing his evening of playing Playstation slipping away, Ian informs Rachel that she’d better jump into the bath, if she is ever going to. Rachel now informs him that she will have a shower, but that she won’t wash her hair as it’s too much hassle and she ‘only washed it the other day’.

9:30pm. Rachel, being busy with her phone winging with a work colleague about some other woman at work that Ian has never heard of, postpones tonights shower plans for a ‘quick shower in the morning and maybe a big long bath at the weekend’.

Although robbed of his night of playing Playstation, Ian is relieved at her decision to postpone her bath plans as he remembers that when he was asked by his wife to put the boiler on 'boost' at 6:30pm, he had completely forgotten to do so.!

Ian is just his wife postponed the bath else he would have had his wife to contend with. Nice thanks for sharing.

He missed her wrath by a beat. What stops him from playing his game tho?
